Mandy· January 6th, 2025We had a very good experience with this tour. We chose a small tour group number so that the experience is more personal. Communication was excellent (via whatsapp and emails). The guides (Ashraf in Cairo and Peter in Aswan and Luxor) were very knowlegable and friendly, picked us up from hotels and accompanied us all day. A helper was waiting for us at the airport on arrival to help us with the visa and show us to our minivan. All staff were punctual throughout the tour and available on whatsapp with any quieres. All were very polite and helpful. The Nile Cruise was very enjoyable and the staff were very helpful (even allowed us to use a room after check out as our flight was late in evening). We chose to book our own hotels so I cannot comment on those. We chose a very full itinerary to see most of the sights, so we had many early morning starts but it was worth it! Don't miss the hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings! Because all the logistics were planned by the tour operator, we could relax and enjoy the holiday without having to worry about transport, what to see next, timing etc. We highly recommend this tour and would chose it again.Show more

View in EnglishI highly recommend this tour with Egypt Skyway. The original itinerary was modified a few weeks before the start of the trip, which was beneficial. The agency also took care to arrange the additional flight and hotel. In retrospect, leaving Cairo for the end of the trip was beneficial. We had a few minor hiccups at the beginning of the trip (for this reason 4 stars out of 5), but all were solved thanks to the constant management of Mostafa from Egypt Skyway; his support and attention were constant. Regarding the guides: - Aswan: Peter was very kind and attentive (English speaking guide). - Kom Ombo: Mahmud was very rushed and did not give a very good service. - Luxor: Mohamed Mostafa was a very good guide, paying attention to every detail and delivering a great service. He showed us many interesting things about each place we visited. - Cairo: Noha Emam provided great service and very good attention. She was flexible to our requests, patient and kind. And we could not have been happier with Egypt Skyway! The organization and quality of the trip was exceptional. Mostafa was available 24/7 to solve any problem or answer questions. All drivers and guides were extremely friendly and took care of us in every situation. We especially want to thank our guides Hana, Taiaat and Mohamed who are all experts in egiptiology and made each excursion so much fun. The nile cruise was amazing (it was only over too fast!), as well as all hotels. We felt safe and welcome at all times. Only thing we would do differently next time is to choose a flight over the night train to the south of Egypt. The night train was an "adventure" for itself, and we did not get too much sleep during the rocky ride. The service from Mostafa at Skyway Tours was outstanding; he has always been available to answer questions before our tour and throughout. From the minute you arrive into Cairo until the sad moment that you leave Egypt, you are taken care of every step of the way. All the drivers and meet and greet were just so friendly and helpful. Our Tour guides were outstanding! Rania in Cairo, Peter in Aswan and Abdalla in Luxor were masters in their own field of Egyptology. We learnt so much from each and every person. Eyad in Cairo was the best and most helpful driver. The hotel in Cairo was great, with spectacular views of the Pyramids and the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was pretty yummy too. Nile cruise was great and the views from the boat were everything we had dreamt of and more. Staff super friendly and the food was all very tasty and of a high standard. I would book with Skyway again and again, honestly couldn't fault any part of our time in Egypt, other than we wish we had longer. Pro tip: if you can do longer than 7 days, I strongly advise it as there is A LOT of long days and so much to see and learn about that it can be quite exhausting. If you can factor in a longer trip, do it so you have some downtime to rest. Summer is a great time to go as all of the sites are less busy, however it is very hot. If you can handle the heat, I definitely suggest the summer. You will get some amazing pictures and very few photobombing tourists! The organization was very good, the tour guides were very professional, the hotels I stayed in were comfortable and beautiful, and the food was very delicious.
