You can certainly book this tour as a solo traveler. Our safari tents hold to people per tent. If the tour is fully booked then you may end up sharing a tent with somebody. Our Bush swags only hold one person. You could also look into that option.

My son is 7 1/2. He turns 8 in October. He is very mature for his age and experienced in camping and hiking. Is there any way an exception could be made and we could bring him?

As your Son is almost 8 and has campoing expirence, We are happy to make an exception. You will just have to follow the guides instuction and be aware that most of the group will be adults.

Can I participate in the tour if I'm aged 70+?

We do allow guests aged 70 and over on the tour. For passengers aged 75 and above, we require a doctor's medical certificate, and we ask all guests to carefully review the itinerary to ensure they are comfortable with the walking distances involved. A minimum moderate to advanced level of fitness is required to participate in the walks. Walks range from approximately 2 km to 6 km per day and may involve steep, rocky terrain, direct sunlight, and high humidity. The total walking distance over the tour is approximately 9–11 km. Please note that participation in walks is at the guide's discretion to ensure the safety of all guests. A medium to high level of fitness is therefore required, and a doctor's certificate must be provided for guests aged 75 and over at least 30 days prior to travel.

We love the itinerary destinations on the three day, but would like to stretch it of 5 days, allowing my photographer husband extra time for Uluru and nature.

We operate 2, 3, and 4 Day Tours, depending on the date! The 2 Day Tour always finishes in Ayers Rock, while the 3 and 4 Day Tours naturally finish in Alice Springs. For the 3 Day Tour only, if you did want to finish in Ayers Rock, we are able to check with an external shuttle company if they are able to bring you back to Ayers Rock from Kings Canyon, however, this is subject to availability. Unfortunately we don't have a tour that would cover 5 days, our 4 Day Tour is our longest tour and can only finishe in Alice Springs which does not appear to fit into your plans to finish in Ayers Rock.

We would like to explore Uluru and Kata Tjuta on September 10 and 11, before going to Kings Canyon on September 12, then on to Alice Springs on September 13 for a quick visit. Can you offer an independent tour with guides at each site, the option for lodging (not camping), and transportation?

We have public tours available; however, these are all camping tours. We have a 3-day tour that departs from Yulara between 13:00 and 13:50pm on the 10th of September and finishes in Alice Springs on the 12th of September. We have one guide for this tour. Unfortunately, we don't offer any accommodated tours in the Red Centre. However, we do have a private charters team who may be able to assist you with a private tour.

I have a severe tree nut allergy (which I carry an epi-pen for), and I was wondering if this is something that can be accommodated during this tour with the meals provided?

Yes, We can accommodate for nut allergies on our tour. We will provide you with a separate meal for any meals that contain tree nuts.

Do you make any exceptions for your age limits?

Yes we do, we would need you to get a leeter form your doctor stating your fitness or sign a medical waiver after booking. But other than that your age should not be a problem. We would love to welcome you on tour.

Is this tour possible starting and ending in Ayers Rock/Yulara on 19th of december, 2025? Is it possible to have a pick-up from the airport? And what time?

We currently have availability for the 19th December 2025. If you wish to book our 3 Day Red Centre Tour you will need to book the tour code RY3-B / RY3-S - As this means the tour starts from Ayers Rock. The pick up from Ayers Rock airport - flight time arrivals we can wait up until is 1:50pm. We also can drop you back off in Ayers Rock however the return will be via the shuttle bus operated by ATT Kings as the tour naturally finishes in Alice Springs. You will return back to Ayers Rock around 6:30/7pm therefore it would most likely mean that you will need to book a flight the following day as i dont believe there are any flights after 7pm.

I am interested in traveling to Uluru with my family. My youngest son will be 7 years and 9 months old during the trip in September 2025. The tour description indicates a minimum age of 8 years. Is this a problem?

The minimum age requirement for the trip is 8 years, which helps ensure all children are ready for the physical and social aspects of the experience. The guide laughing to the people that they now all have to eat a lot of sugar. ->Guide: Jordan. Bad driving skills, driving fast over wholes in street and speed bumps. People in the bus sleeping were waking up with a shock after this. Guide is laughing.... never experienced such a disrespect to guests/passengers. He did not make a wish of foto spot possible at a once in a lifetime trip, would have taken no extra way, just a stop for 5mins. Better stopping at every Café for a extended unneccesarily long breake. Jordan also laughed about questions of interested people about culture and aborigines. Although it might be a crazy decision to go to the desert in summer (Feb is tooooo hot), I still think overall the tour was great - beautiful scenery, captivating aboriginal culture, knowledgeable guide (thanks Michy, he did driving, cooking, leading the hikings, and looking after everyone). As a Chinese, the food was not that tasty to me but ok enough. The hikings were a bit challenging but my daughter said she enjoyed them. The only thing I disliked was having to get up at 4:00am in the morning, but understood that's to see sunrise and do the hiking as early as possibly.Show more

She was very knowledgeable about local culture, plants and animals and that definitely enhanced the experience. It felt like we got the most out of our time starting early worked really well and we saw Uluru at sunset and Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuṯa at sunrise. The only down side was that I should have booked directly with Autopia. Tour radar added a layer of confusion to the booking process which was quite stressful. Once we got on the bus we were very happy with the tour. It was a great experience and we would definitely not have got the same if we had hired a car and done it by ourselves.Show more

Sue made the tour for me, providing endless facts on the geological history of the places we visited, outback fauna and flora, as well as the Aboriginal significance of sacred sights. We had a small group of just 10 people, which I really enjoyed—everyone was enthusiastic and willing to help out with preparing meals. We currently have availability for this shuttle throughout June, but it can sell out, so please let us know as soon as possible if you would like us to secure a spot for you.
