Could you please clarify what you mean by staying at your own hotels? Would you prefer to arrange your own hotel accommodations and avail only the tour? If so, please note that the rate applies to land services only, which include daily accommodation and meals. This means the tour package already includes hotel accommodations. Should you wish to include Prepaid Gratuities, international flights, or pre/post-tour accommodations in your booking, please note that these services incur additional charges.

Is there a way we can join one of these trips if we are in our 50's?

Since Contiki is for 18-35 years of age, we do have a similar trip with our sister brand Costsaver.

Apologies as all our Contiki tours are strictly only for travellers ages 18 to 35 years old. They were tailored for youth travellers.

Nothing particularly special. It was your standard tour of Europe. I thought the tour manager, Kat, was incredibly unorganized and shared very little information with us about the places we visited. The ME time activities were overpriced and mostly not worth extra money spent. Also, I did not realize Contiki was a "party tour" before I went on it so if you do not like to drink all night, wake up hungover and go to the sights I would not recommend this tour. It's a good starter tour but I wouldn't recommend this if you are an experienced traveller or have been to Europe before. Show more

I did the London to Athens Contiki with Suzie in September. It was an absolutely amazing experience made that much better by our amazing tour guide. She felt more like a friend instantly than our tour manager and was always happy and keen to come out and party with us! The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
