Itinerary
- Day 1
Venice to Cortina d'Ampezzo
You'll arrive in Venice before 3pm with time to walk around the city on your own. Later in the afternoon, a bus will take you to Cortina d'Ampezzo where you'll stay near the bus station. This location works well since it's right where tomorrow's hiking adventure begins.

- Day 2
Dolomites Hike to Guissani Hut
An early shuttle heads out from Cortina d'Ampezzo so you can meet your mountain guide and get started on the Dolomites hike. You'll take a short bus ride to the trailhead in the Tofanes mountains, then begin hiking up to Guissani hut. The trail gains about 850m in elevation over roughly 4 hours.

- Day 3
Kreuzkofe
This is a tougher day with more elevation change. You'll descend along Val Travenanzes and then climb through val de Fanes, ending near Kreuzkofe. Over about 6 hours, you'll gain 650m and lose 1143m in elevation.

Croda Rossa and Sorapis
Fanes Park offers nice views of Croda Rossa and Sorapis mountains. The route covers approximately 923m elevation gain and 1463m elevation loss, taking about 6 hours total. You'll find the scenery shifts throughout the day as you move through different terrain.

Walshe Platz to Rotwand
Today you'll cross through the Eastern Dolomites, passing Walshe platz and Rosalm hütte pass with Rotwand and Croda Rossa mountains overhead. You'll gain around 1206m and lose 674m over about 6 hours of hiking.

Tre Cime
You'll walk part of Dolomites Alta Via 3 heading toward Strudelkopf pass, then descend to Dürensee at the old Austria-Italy border. After that, the route goes through Rienztal and brings you to the foot of Tre Cime. This stretch has about 1200m elevation gain and 800m elevation loss, taking roughly 5.5 hours.

Tre Cime Loop
This day includes exploring a historic military tunnel that soldiers dug during wartime. You'll hike between steep rock faces like Croda di Toni, Popera, and Cima 11. The challenging terrain involves about 788m elevation gain and 868m elevation loss over approximately 5 hours.

Lago Misurina - Cortina
The hike follows the Cadini di Misurina mountains down to Lago Misurina, then heads back to Cortina. You'll finish around 3pm, giving time to get settled at your hotel for your final night. This descent covers roughly 750m elevation loss and takes about 4 hours.

Cortina to Venice
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll say goodbye to your guide and fellow hikers. A 3-hour bus transfer takes you back to Venice, wrapping up your Dolomites hiking week. Plan your return flight for after 2pm to give yourself enough time.
