Yes luggage transfer is included, you will only walk/hike with your small day pack. Any extra luggage can be left at the hotel on the first night. Currently there is no availability for September this month which is also the end of the hiking season, If you interested in the next year staring end of June, July, Aug or Sept dates then we can accept the booking accordingly.

Yes the trek part will be guided, that is from day02. Currently we do not have availability for september dates, we have August departures 8,15, 22 and 29, also we have dates in july available.

Is this trip guided? Is the hiking portion completely guided? Is there a way to upgrade to better accomodation? If so, what are the options and costs? Since this tour goes from Refugios to Refugios, is there a way to travel between these if one does not hike one days and meets up the group at the next Refugio.

Is Lake Garda one of your destinations or is it possible to add a stay there for a couple nights on the back end? Are there any hotel rooms that have 3 beds for the adult children, or 2 beds and a couch? Are tours in June 2026 available for booking yet?

Unfortunately we do not have any tour that has hiking form Dolomites to lake Garda. The current Dolomites tour we have is all hiking and it will be dormitory stay with shared facilities during the hiking part except the first and last day it will be an hotel stay. The hotel has 2 beds so you will need 3 rooms for the family of 5.

To begin, I had a good time on this trek. The local guide was capable, funny, and experienced. What I didn’t like was that, by booking through Bucket List, I paid twice as much for the same trek as nearly everyone else on the trek who booked through other brokers or directly through Cairn. There was one other person of 11 of us who booked through Bucket List, and the only thing we got that others didn’t was a shared hotel room on the first and last day of the trek. According to the hotel receipt, that cost was just over $200 per night, or about $100 for each of us since we shared. That definitely didn’t justify an additional charge of over $1700 each more than what other people on the same trek paid. We assumed that, since it was 9 days and cost quite a bit more, we were getting something unique for our money. We didn’t. Food was not even provided on the first day or the last evening, so calling it a 9-day trek was an exaggeration. It was 7 days, like what everyone else signed up for at a much cheaper cost. Also, because we paid so much, we would have expected there to be more than one guide for 11 people. We had a very fast group and a normal-paced group among us. No matter what, one group didn’t have a guide because he couldn’t be in two places at once. This made navigating the sometimes precarious trails a little tricky. Overall, the trek was quite an adventure, but I feel very cheated by this company and do not recommend booking with them.Show more

Hello Amanda thanks for your feedback, We we work with local outfitters and vendors, we also operates our own tours. Just to clarify our local outfitters has their own bookings and clients and they may offer their own price on which we do not have control. We have our fixed price package, also you have signed up for double occupancy package for hotel part of the tour so that is why it was a sharing with another solo traveler (same gender). If you have signed up for single occupancy then you would have your own hotel room. Our package includes 2 way airport transfers to the trail meeting location that is in Cortina, 2 nights of hotel accommodations and 24X7 customer support. All the above extra service are not included in the local outfitter price package. We offer 1 guide up to group of 13 people and as per your information the group size was 11 so it was 1 guide.
