- Rachel· September 18th, 2025This was a very well paced, well planned tour. Our guide Younes, and driver Mohammad, were amazing. Super helpful at every step, knew a lot about each place we stayed, and were great at keeping the tour group together and moving and keeping track of everything. I liked the pacing, having a couple days in most places and stopping overnight to make sure we weren't doing too much driving at once. For the most part all the hotels were great, some of them had more spotty wifi than others but they were all clean and good amenities, breakfast always included (so many carbs!). The only one I might have wished was different was in Fes, where we were staying really far out from the town so there wasn't much we could do on our own in the evening. I would have liked to have a little time to explore on my own outside of the guided tour that took most of the one day we were there, but it was an hour walk to the hotel and I didn't want to deal with taking a taxi. Which also meant dinner was a little limited since there weren't many options by the hotel (I'm not visiting Morocco so I can go eat at McDonald's). But overall I really have no complaints, it was a great trip and I loved getting to explore a new country. Chefchaouen is beautiful, I enjoyed the pacing of Essaouira, wish there had been less cloud cover in the desert but it was still a cool experience. Booking a solo trip as part of a group tour can be risky, but I'm really glad it worked out in this case (even if I was probably the youngest in the group by about 15 years!)Show more
- Angela· June 24th, 2025This trip was amazing!!! Beautiful country, accepting and warm people and an absolutely amazing guide! If you do this tour, insist on Khalid! He really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable! If you are looking for an authentic trip and cultural enrichment you wont be disappointed. A couple of things…these hotels have great charm except a couple of them but whilst clean, they are very basic! Do not worry about attire and covering knees/shoulders…Moroccans are very accepting no matter what you wear! Bring hand sanitizer and forget the sleeping bag or any long sleeves (we travelled in June and the sahara was warm even at night!) There is no place to do laundry…bring some detergent with you to wash by hand..clothes soon dry! If you want to drink, buy some alcohol at a liquor store (ask your guide!) and bring it with you (if the tour is small and there is space) Moroccans are happy to put it in the fridge wherever you go and you can take it with to your meal! One glass of wine, if you order, is about 90MAD or $9US if you are able to order though but most places do not serve alcohol. Bring plenty of sunscreen…you will need it! Do not pet the stray dogs or cats for safety! Welcome to Morocco!Show more

Asked on October 7th, 2025Looking to see what the differences are in your 9 day tour that starts April 2 or 3 or the one that starts April 4? Please confirm in Canadian dollars the cost for the group tour for two people sharing. We would also be interested in the costing for a private tour for 2 people for the 9 day tour.
Nomadic ToursOperator•Written October 2025This tour departs on the 03.04.26 from Casablanca and 04.04.26 from Marrakech. The price is the same for each of these at todays exchange rate of $1780 pp. Bothe these departures are just modules of the same tour. The private tour option, with your own private guide, transport and date of your choice is $3093 pp. Please note that we guarantee all our departures with a minimum of 2, so if you choose the scheduled group tour, this would definitely operate. This you can book through the website. If you want the private tour option, then you need to send us confirmation by email and we will process it manually.

Asked on September 28th, 2025I am a female solo traveller, and I would like to know how big the group is, the avarage age and the temperatures early in November! are there a lot of free time? I wouldn t go alone for dinner for example :)
Nomadic ToursOperator•Written September 2025We currently have 10 people booked and have just had 2 more people enquire. We take max 16 passengers. The ages we have so far are: 45, 49, 56, 60, 63, 79, 54, 55, 59 and 60. Age is nothing but a number and usually you all become a family and make friends so hopefully you can ask to go to dinner with someone if you do not want to be alone or ask the guide for some advice on local places or stay at the hotel.

Traveler•Written September 2025I really wished there were more solo trevellers, I don t want to spend much time alone in Morocco ;)
Nomadic ToursOperator•Written September 2025The only nights where dinner is not included is in Fes, Chefchaouen and Casablanca. In Fes, one of those nights you are likely to be at the evening entertainment with dinner and that is fantastic! Chefchaouen - you could book a cooking class. Last night in Marrakech, you all go to the stalls in the Medina. So it would be Casablanca and maybe 1 night in Fes where you could eat at the hotel or go to a local supermarket and have a restful night

Traveler•Written September 2025Are all couples or also firends joining the group? is there a lot of free time then?
Nomadic ToursOperator•Written September 2025Not a huge amount of free time. I think there may be a Dad with a daughter and rest couples but not too sure.

Asked on July 22nd, 2025Could you please tell me if the groups are small and what the mix of ages will be. Would we be able to stay in Marrakech and do a balloon ride ? Is the transport and accomodation airconditioned? What is the temperature like in September ? Or is it better to travel in November?
Nomadic ToursOperator•Written July 2025Our tours are groups up to a maximum of 16 with each tour being guaranteed once 2 people are booked, therefore groups are between 2 & 16. In terms of temperature the average temperature in September is 28 degrees with November being 23 degrees so it really just depends on how you cope with the heat and your preference. We have a tour starting on 20 September which currently has 10 people booked on with ages ranging from 34 to 64. We also have one starting on 01 November which has 4 people currently booked with ages between 54 - 60. Our guides can arrange all add on activities, we would recommend a balloon ride on the last day before you travel home as there would not be time during the tour.
