Itinerary
- Day 1
Travel to Trek Start
Your trek starts with a 7 to 8 hour drive by bus or jeep to reach the trailhead. You'll climb to 930 meters during this journey and take in views the whole way. It's a long travel day but sets you up for the hiking ahead.
- Day 2
Syange Waterfall
This morning you'll do a short 1.5 hour hike up to Syange waterfall at 1310 meters. It's a gentler way to start your trekking experience and helps your body adjust to the altitude.

Bagarchhap Village
Today brings your first full day of mountain trekking, a 7 hour push to Bagarchhap village at 2165 meters. You'll feel the legs working as you climb, but the scenery makes it worthwhile.

Deep Forest Hiking
This is a demanding 12 to 14 hour day as you trek through deep forest and climb to between 3250 and 3550 meters. Diverse landscapes of mountains and greenery surround you throughout. Take your time and pace yourself.

Mountain Views and Villages
An 8 to 9 hour trek at 3519 meters brings views of mountains, monasteries and villages along the Annapurna Circuit. You're well into the high country now and the landscape changes with each turn.

Manang
A quick 1 hour hike at 3540 meters takes you to see the 1000 Lama Monastery, Gangapurna Lake, and the Manang viewpoint. It's a nice short day to let your body adjust at altitude.

Mount Gungang Himal
You'll trek through jungle for 5 to 6 hours at 4060 meters with Mount Gungang Himal visible throughout the day. The forest here feels different from the lower elevations you started in.

Mount Tilicho Peak
A 3 to 4 hour trek at 4200 meters puts Mount Tilicho Peak in view. The altitude is getting significant now, so take it steady and watch how you're feeling.

- Day 9
Tilicho Lake
This short 3 to 4 hour hike gets you to Tilicho Lake at 4919 meters, one of the highest lakes in the world. The alpine setting here is something special, with the water reflecting the sky.

Sirikharaka
A 3 to 4 hour trek at 4060 meters brings you to Sirikharaka. You're moving through high alpine terrain now where the air feels thin and the views stretch for miles.

Mountain Views Trek
You'll spend 6 to 7 hours trekking at 4200 meters with mountain views surrounding you all day. The terrain becomes more exposed as you get higher, with less vegetation around.

High Altitude Mountain Views
A 3 to 4 hour trek at 4540 meters keeps you in the high alpine zone with mountain vistas on every side. You're approaching the pass now and can feel you're near the trek's highest point.

- Day 13
Thorong La Pass and Muktinath
This challenging 9 to 10 hour day crosses the Thorong La Pass at 5416 meters and reaches Muktinath Temple, a highlight of the trek. The pass itself is cold and exposed, but reaching it brings real satisfaction.

- Day 14
Descent to Lower Altitude
A 7 to 8 hour descent brings you down from the high mountains to 2743 meters. Your legs might appreciate the downhill work after the climb, and the landscape changes noticeably as you lose elevation.

Return Journey
Your final 12 to 13 hour journey by bus or jeep takes you down to 1400 meters with scenic views the entire way. You've completed the Annapurna Circuit and can reflect on the trek as you head back.
