I'm interested in doing the Rockies in June 2026. I'm just wondering if you connect people from Australia prior going to travel with?

Due to privacy reason, we do not share passengers' details prior to the trip, and you will be able to meet your group and tour leader during the welcome meeting.

Would it be possible to join the tour as a tour manager after booking it? Would I get paid for that? Would I be able to work as a tour manager for other trips? Would my flight and hotel be free as a tour manager?

We are unable to accommodate additional tour managers on our scheduled trips, as we already have designated tour leaders assigned to each departure. During the day, do you hike with just a day pack and leave the rest of your gear at your campsite? Are there any rental items available, sleeping bag, sleeping pad or hiking poles?

We will provide tents, basic sleeping mats, camp kitchen essentials, camp chairs and campfire supplies. All luggage is carried in trailers or inside the vehicle so please don't bring more than one medium sized bag, backpack or suitcase (20kg/44lb maximum) per person. A small daypack with your water bottle and camera may be carried with you inside the vehicle.

Do we need to bring anything specific for the hikes?

It is recommended to bring a day bag to carry snacks and layers, while lunches may be packed in the morning.

A single supplement is available for £105 if you'd prefer not to share a tent on this trip. The single supplement applies to all nights on your trip and is subject to availability. Due to limited space at group campsites, the single supplement is always on request.

Convenient way to see some iconic parts of rockies. Went to busy sites so don't expect to ' get away from it all'. Hiking was easy . Small group ( but equally small van). This is camping so expected to do some work around cleaning and cooking and packing up camp but this got too much at times. You should hope for a group of people who can share the load. There is only one guide who does all driving and all logistics ( ie buying food, menu planning, etc) so this is big load for one person (and she worked hard). Therefore, our guide did not have enough head space to actually give good information about what we were seeing nor clear explanations about changes to itinerary. Overall, we disappointed that this was not an inexpensive trip yet Intrepid are cost saving a bit too much in places.Show more
