- Laura· September 26th, 2023Our group lead Emily was just fantastic (apart from her habit of putting salad cream on a roast dinner 🤢). We had a tonne of bad weather during our trip so poor Emily had to really think on her feet and keep changing the plans to deal with road closures etc. Honestly, she deserves a bonus for the amount of stress she dealt with! My only bit of feedback for intro would be to *please* update the packing list. "Casual winter clothes" really didn't prepare all of us for trudging through actual snow on mount cooke and freezing winds on some of the boat trips. Pretty much everyone ended up buying more warm clothes during the trip! Anyone considering the NZ tour, bring waterproof shoes, a *very warm* coat, and a waterproof jacket. Overall, had a great time. Hobbiton, the jet boat ride, and the Maori village were probably my highlights, along with the scenery all around during the whole trip. 😊Show moreTrip date: September 2023

Travelling between each location was always super easy, either with a shuttle or intercity buses. Both local bus drivers were great! They gave us so much knowledge on the area, happy to answer any questions and always being so lovely! So many amazing activities were included and anything else we wanted to do our amazing tour guide organised all for us! Our tour leader, Emily, went absolutely above and beyond! She always went that extra mile with everyone to ensure that everyone had the best time possible and could do everything they wanted to do!
