I want to know the charge for a private room. We are uncomfortable to stay in bunk beds

We can look into the possibility of a private room for you both to share. However please just bear in mind that it's not possible to confirm a private room at the accommodation in Queenstown so you would need to share with others for the nights spent there. Which currency will you be paying in and I can provide you with a quote? And can I also double check that both of you are below the age of 45 please? As this is the upper age limit for this tour.

1. What is dorm type na accommodation? Back packers? Shared toilet? Is it possible to have a private room with own toilet?

On our NZ 17 Day tour you'll be in mixed dorm rooms with a shared bathroom! We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Please note, a private room upgrade is not available in the Queenstown accommodation.

How many people are typically per dorm and is it mixed gender? Is there a limit to luggage? I will be traveling with 1 large and 1 small suitcase?

The dorms we use are usually either 6 or 4 bed and mixed with the rest of the INTRO group! You'll be fine travelling with either a suitcase or a backpack and 1 smaller day pack! We just recommend packing light - 10–20kg should be plenty. Plus, there will be places along the way where you can do laundry, so you won't need to overpack!

We currently already have 8 booked on to the 22nd August New Zealand Adventure 17 Day tour! We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age.

any age restriction on this tour? We are over 50

Unfortunately the hostels we stay at in New Zealand do not accept anyone over the age of 45, so we wouldn't be able to book you onto a tour there.

What does Shared Dormitory mean? Will the accommodation be in a hotel? For us ideal would be Double Room with private bathroom and breakfast.

The accommodation included on this trip is multi-share throughout. However, we can look into the possibility of a private room. Not all private rooms are ensuite, so you would be sharing a bathroom in some locations.

I have a question in the visitor VISA application about Full address of accomodation if known. Should I book this and then show the itinerary here as the proof? Do you have any idea about this?

You get to see all the major sites and have flexibility to add on activities if you want to (would really recommend the white water rafting in North Island and the stargazing in South!) To get around NZ you really need a car, so to have all the travel planned out for us made everything so easy, and stress free! Niamh was our tour guide and honestly she was amazing, literally the best especially when things went a little wrong in North island with the weather on our way to Wellington! 10/10 she’s a legend, if you’re thinking of booking this tour do it !Show more

During the trip, we got to see the most amazing sights and experience a variety of things. The Maori culture evening was very memorable, and I made my best friends while boating. The various hikes and magnificent landscapes were also wonderful experiences that we never tired of. The icing on the cake was a visit to Hobbiton. The trip could also be customized with additional activities. But thanks to our wonderful guide, the trip was really easy and memorable. The best way to start traveling alone.Show more

The itinerary is very well thought through and the accommodations were perfect for our group, I don’t normally enjoy staying in hostels but when everyone in the room is a new friend it’s great. The optional activities were so much fun and there was no pressure at all to join everything. The best part was our guide Niamh, she’s so down to earth, makes sure everyone is included and having a good time and she just has a great nature.
