After checking into your hotel, the afternoon is open for you to wander around London at your own pace. You might take a walk along the Serpentine in Hyde Park, browse shops in Knightsbridge, or stroll down to the Thames to see Tower Bridge and the Tower of London up close.

Meet your Travel Director at 07:00 and head to St. Pancras Station to board the high-speed Eurostar through the Channel Tunnel to Amsterdam. You'll drive through the Rhine Valley heading to Würzburg, where the impressive Marienburg Fortress and the baroque palace of the Prince Bishops come into view. Würzburg to Prague
In the morning, head to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the most well-preserved town on the Romantic Road. After that, continue east toward the Czech border, passing through Pilsen known for its beer, before arriving in Prague. The evening is free, so you might consider an optional river cruise through the heart of the city.

Prague
You have Insight Choice today in Prague. Either visit Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, or walk through the Jewish Quarter with a Local Expert to learn about Jewish history and traditions while tasting traditional Czech pastry called Trdelník. Travel through Bohemia's forested countryside heading into Hungary, following the Danube River as you make your way to Budapest. By evening, you'll join a Local Expert for a scenic dinner cruise along the Danube, taking in the city's night-time views. Budapest's position on the Danube has earned it the nickname 'Pearl of the Danube' for good reason.

Budapest to Vienna
Your orientation tour starts along the grand Andrássy Avenue and continues to Heroes' Square. You'll stroll through the alleys of Buda's Old Town and see the Fisherman's Bastion for sweeping views of the city. From Gellért Hill, you can take in the Liberty Statue and Citadella overlooking Budapest, plus panoramic sights of the Danube, Chain Bridge, and Elizabeth Bridge. The route continues past the Turul Monument toward the Austrian border and Vienna.

Venice to Rome
Head into the Apennine Mountains toward Tuscany's peaceful landscapes. Florence to Lucerne
Head north toward the Italian Lake District via Lake Lugano, then continue into the heart of the Swiss Alps. You'll pass through the Saint Gotthard Tunnel, one of the longest road tunnels in the world, alongside towering mountains and rushing torrents. From there, it's down to scenic Lake Lucerne.
