I waited 50 years to do this trip and return to my birth place I was extremely disappointed our tour guide and driver were great but that where it stops you need to be more upfront with your customers…I waited 50 years to do this trip and return to my birth place I was extremely disappointed our tour guide and driver were great but that where it stops you need to be more upfront with your customers because it cost us an extra $2000 to actually see proper sites whats include in the package does not include a lot of the sites in italy the hotels were too far from anything some were quite poky the meals included were also very poor some were actually un eatable I truly believe you need to be more upfront with you travellers for some they have worked all there lives and then find out they have fork out another $2000 it's just not right

She is what made our trip excellent. Any frustration we had regarding the large group was offset by Kassie. Her competence was impressive. Some accommodations were not excellent, but all were clean and comfortable. Some meals were typical bulk buffet and some were impressive. The driver was extremely competent and we felt comfortable the entire trip.

We recently travelled for 16 days on the Spain, Portugal and Morocco tour. We had Kassie as our guide and she was a fantastic guide who we could not fault her in anyway. We had Kassie as our guide and she was a fantastic guide who we could not fault her in anyway. She made this trip exceptional as she was so professional relaxed and friendly at all times while managing 45 people on the coach. We have travelled with many tour companies over the years with good guides but Kassie was the best one we had ever had. It was the little extra things she did such as the Facebook group, the gifts, asking people for their music tastes and then playing it on the bus, the games on long bus days to pass the time, the farewell video etc. Thanks Kassie for making it such a wonderful trip!

Kassie ensured our tour ran smoothly and each morning she would individually speak to each guest just to check they were feeling well and to see if they had any questions for her. This is a little something that we all thought was very special. Kassie is such a lovely young lady and she endeared herself to everyone on the tour. The lady I travelled with suffered from very bad vertigo on the tour and Kassie went out of her way to assist her and make her feel safe and comfortable. Kassie is such an asset to Trafalgar.

She was so pleasant, always smiling, and went above and beyond what was expected of a tour director, even offering to pick me up some new items to replace the ones I had left in the hotel room. Several people became ill on the trip and a few had mishaps. Kassie's heartfelt concern touched all of us. To the fantastic out of the way places she took us to, to the little "treats" she gave us, you could tell that Kassie really enjoys her work. She made out trip very special and one that we will never forget.

She went above and beyond with not just me but everyone. The trip was full of constant 'surprises' as in little hidden places, taste tests etc. Lots of laughs, lots of games when it was a long drive and not one single day without her cheery smile and attitude.

Kassie Jones was our tour director for the above-mentioned trip. She is pleasant and handled all our requests really well. She is also well versed on all the places we visited, giving a concise history of Vienna (the Habsburgs), Croatia and Slovenia. She also gave us tips on the wonderful delicacies of theses places to try.

How you can project the aforementioned tour after your I suspect speaks volumes about you personally and you can only be an asset to Trafalgar. The tour was a great product. The last couple of countries lacked a little punch it's difficult to articulate , perhaps they lacked a little history. They were however pretty and by this point in the tour I suspect most are happy to sit back and chill.
The catering was adequate but quite a spectrum in terms of quality and service. Accommodation was also a littlei mixed. Apart from Amsterdam the location s were great.
Overall I was a happy camper. Thanks again

She knows her job very well and comes well prepared. I am surprised as to how she is able to keep awake in the bus while travelling despite having a haphazard sleeping pattern. I am also astonished on the information that she shares with the group on different places and its historical background. It was indeed a learning experience for us. She took care of us so well that we felt at home during the trip and was sad to part ways. I appreciate her crisis management skills when our hotel in Venice was under a black out and subsequently arranged alternate accommodation within a short time. To top it all, cost saver also provided a complimentary dinner to all tour members as a gesture of good will. My wife and I share the same views.
We will definitely travel with cost saver again on our future trips and wish Kassie will be our tour director. She facilitated the whole group to bond into one big family. No words will suffice to shower Kassie on her professionalism. We wish her good luck in her endeavors. Thanks. Ravi Shankar and Sridevi.

She also showed care for all of the passengers. I appreciated her assistance with getting on and off the bus. Kassie also gave us information about places to eat and where to find toilets. I appreciated her advice on where to buy earrings in Venice. Kassie helped to make our trip fun, enjoyable, and a learning experience.

Embarking from London upon our 12 day tour we settled in with the good feeling vibes as Kassie shared with us her broad knowledge of the many countries we visited and some extras we weren't expecting. No matter where we were, she didn't leave anyone behind. The inside tips to making our navigation easier be that shopping, sightseeing or dining will have us abroad again in no time. Loved my holiday as all the details were taken care of. The optional extras were well worth joining and I can't pick just one favourite. Accomodation away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city made the journey more relaxed. Our driver safely had us on time to all of our locations. Kassie always brought a smile to our day, Cracking us up at times with her sense of humour.

A must travel for anyone who has a interest in either European history/architecture/food/seeing a mixture of cosmopolitan and little towns.
Was initially worried of how our 6 year son would cope, but thanks to the excellent friendship within the people on the same group and our excellent Travel Director Kassie who championed everything smoothly that gave us parents to enjoy the journey even better.

Also we had a very courteous bus driver, Tiego, who was charming, helpful and a very good driver. Some of the extra optional meals were not entirely up to standard however overall this tour was very good value and worthwhile. Hotel standard overall was excellent. The tour was very comprehensive. I would definitely like to return to Spain, Portugal and Morocco to explore these areas more.

The itinerary for the tour is somewhat short, I would have liked a 13 day/12 night tour spending a full day in Toledo in lieu of a visit, additional day in Córdoba, Granada and Valencia. The rooms allocated to us in Madrid and Barcelona were below par when compared to rooms allocated to other fellow travellers. Our Madrid hotel, room 137, had a 600mm X 450mm approx pillar adjacent the bed. It significantly reduced the space available for our second suitcase. The hotel did offer to change us but were not very accommodating with the arrangements to effect the change. We decided to stay in room 137 but would not recommend this room to any fellow traveller. Barcelona hotel room 110 is somewhat tired, no heating just an extra blanket offered. We were told that AC heating was not available yet fellow travellers on upper floors were reallocated rooms as AC cooling was not working.
All hotel rooms throughout the tour meticulously cleaned, and, with the exception of 2 reception staff at Ayre Gran Hotel Colon, all other staff encountered were excellent, friendly and happy to offer assistance when required.

I've been on other contikis but they were nothing compared to this trip, which, in large part, was due to Kassie's kick ass organisation skills. She even managed to find us awe some bars and clubs even though the season hadn't really kicked off yet. Kass, I'll always remember dancing on the chairs in the bar in Makarska and you trying to do a chin up on the hand bars on the bus into town in Dubrovnik!

Having a tour bus that drops us off everywhere is extremely convenient as well.
But the highlight would be my tour manager, Kassie. Kassie was able to provide solid recommendations on how to see the most of the city effectively. Also, given the large size of our group (50+), she was able to provide an array of options for people to choose from. I can say that everyone really enjoyed our time with Kassie. She is an incredible tour manager.

The staff, including the customer service representatives over the phone are very very nice and prompt. I would have documentation within seconds of requesting it. The tour bus was very comfortable and the hotels were very nice and clean. I have no complaints, and only praises for the trip director, the trip creator, and the especially the bus driver. Everything was on schedule and we were never really late for anything. I only regret not going further to the next city, but I will definitely do it on my next trip.

Kassie was so knowledgeable of all of the cities and had so much information to share. Even when we were just traveling on the bus she would make it fun by playing silly songs and playing games. She even came out with us at night to the clubs/bars which was so much fun! She was so caring and would check in on each person in our group daily to make sure they were having a good time or if they had any questions about anything. She made everyone feel so safe and comfortable. I definitely recommend Kassie to anyone that wants to have an amazing trip! She's the best!

So I travelled with contiki two years ago and did the European explorer plus Greek island cruising tour. Our tour guide Kassie was amazing. She just had a wealth of knowledge about all the places that we visited. Being it was my first time travelling around Europe, I couldn't fault it. This tour had a bit of everything, history lessons, down time for yourself and great fun group activities. Although the long bus rides can make you very tired, Kassie was able to make the time go fast. Either we would play games or watch movies which were related to our next destination. Kassie would always have time to answer any questions that I had. I will always remember and she will probably remember this aswell lol. We were in Venice and I am a collector of Venetian masks. I asked Kassie, wheres the best place to buy a authentic Venetian mask. She was kind enough to wait for me and some others after we had finished our walking tour to walk us to a mask shop. The manager of this shop even gave us a demonstration on how he makes the masks. I spent about one hour in this shop, trying to find the perfect mask, I purchased three and spent a few euros, but well worth it. After this trip, I have memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. In the future I will hopefully go on another contiki tour, however, the expectations are high after having Kassie as a tour guide. Thanks heaps Kassie and contiki!

Cassie interacted with the buss driver and local guides in a kind and respectful manner whilst stilling ensuring the best interest of our tour group. At each stop Cassie had tips and pointers for food, off the beaten track sights and good deals. She made the bus rides interesting and had great general knowledge about Spain and its history. Cassie was a good leader and could take charge of a large fun loving (and sometimes noisy) group. Completely different experience to my first as my first contiki the tour transport was mainly flights. From All day bus trips to accommodation was great. Kassie was extremely knowledgeable about each country and little stop we made along the way. She went above and beyond to make our trip the most memorable for us, not only that she knew exactly where all the hotspots were from shopping, food right through to pubs and clubs. Even after our tour she still managed on giving me advice on a nice little medical bill I received. She was by far the best tour manager I've had. She's such a great leader and a bunch of fun to be around I throughly enjoyed hanging out with her. I would definitely do another tour to have her as my manager again. Just make sure you ask her what the blue whale does. ;)

Having kassie their (especially being an Aussie) was always so helpful and kind and if I ever had an questions she would always know the answer ! She made me feel safe and I trusted her with my life. The trip itself was very knowledgeable and I learnt so much from every single place we went to. It's a pity we didn't stay in places for more then 1 day because there is just so much to see! I think especially for me, was the fact that everyone had the opportunity to stay out on the town at night or go home for the night. Knowing I had the option to be taken home every night Safeway was the highlight as for me The trip was more about learning and photography.
All and all, contiki was by far the best choice I took and I would do the same trip with the same people over and over again! I made life long friends from all around the world and will never forget each and every one of them! Defiantly a trip of a lifetime! Contiki hasn't seen the last of me !

Starting in Paris and ending in Amsterdam, in just 25 days whatever I have seen and experienced, I am immensely satisfied with that. I just can't wait to book another trip with Contiki.
Kudos to our trip manager Kassie Jones. She did a splendid job in looking after us in all possible ways. She was incredibly knowledgable in explaining us the history, the local cultures and many unknown facts about every place we visited. She used to play the relevant music, video clips, and movies in different occasions during the bus journey to give us more insights about the place and also to set the mood. Her attention to detail about every little thing was impeccable. During the trip, she discovered quite a lot of new things to add into our itinerary. For example she took us to the largest sand dune in Europe - Dune de Plait in France. That was a just a bonus in the trip. She even organised our tickets for a Ice Hockey match in Prague. Not just finding and adding bonuses into our list, she took us to the best night clubs, pubs, gigs in all big cities. She was always ready with local train tickets, metro tickets and always ready guide us any time on phone how to get back to the hotel safely. Her team management skills were awesome.
She was not just a friend but also a guardian throughout the trip to look after our health and safety, from arranging doctors for someone and taking another sick person to hospital and staying up late. I just can't thank enough for making our trip so memorable.
I wish her all the best in her career and I just hope she keeps on helping others in making lifetime memories. Thank you, Kassie. We will never forget you.

Kassie was friendly, funny, approachable and knowledgable. It also helped having a fellow Aussie running the tour, so she 'got it'.
It was my first contiki and it was daunting to travel with complete strangers but Kassie bridges that divide with her tour.
It's not all about getting drunk and partying, it was about enjoying your trip away, Kassie gave options along with being helpful if you wanted to know more about a location, place or activity. Her worldly experience was second to none.
She looked out for everyone and made sure you were having fun.
Plus, if you just wanted to go home, she was accomodating to make sure you got home safe.
I can't imagine how hard it is keeping 30+ people under control and there were a few divas, but Kassie handled this with ease.
I had the pleasure of travelling with Kassie for 10days in May2013, from Amsterdam to Rome.
It seems like yesterday that I left but I have so many memories from that trip and she made it so much better.
I would wish Kassie the very best in her next adventure and contiki are lucky to have her, keep her if you can and it would be a great loss to contiki if you let her go.

It was a once in a life time experience, and looking back on it I'm not sure how Kassie was able to handle our group at times, with people not showing up, fights and the accidental mid night trips to the ER, but she was.
Kassie made the trip much more interesting and a lot of fun the whole way through from start to finish which is saying a lot since The Big Chill was almost a two month trip. She's an all around great person and any tour company would be lucky to have her as part of their team.

My only criticism is that she needs to bring a step to stand on when she talks on the coach as if you are sat anywhere other than the first 3 rows you can't see her because she is so small.

The Berlin & Prague tour was awesome but what made it more enjoyable were the little details which were not overlooked. Once on the trip I got heat exhaustion so once she got everyone else settled and out exploring, she taxied back to the hotel with me to make sure I was ok. All in all, Kassie went above and beyond what was expected and make sure to make our trip one will we remember forever.

Any anxieties or uneasiness we had about traveling in Europe were completely melted away because of Cassie. From the very beginning, she was filled with interesting stories and information of each place we stopped at or passed by that we felt connected to our destinations. She was a constant source of energy and entertainment whether it be the daily travel song, movies, impromptu tours or bus travelling activities. She was always helpful in explaining new cities and pointing out points of interest on city maps so we could plan our day. And not just the general ones either. She always personally asked every individual if there was something we wanted to do or try and always could point us in the right direction. For us personally, she went out of her way one time. A scheduling change allowed us to go to Pompeii with our tour group but we had to find our own way back to Rome as the tour bus was heading to Greece. She figured out the train schedules for us so that we could get back to Rome easily. We appreciate the extra help she provided because Pompeii ended up being one of our favourite stops on the trip and it would not have been possible without her. Thank you Cassie for such a great trip and memorable Honeymoon :-D

On the very first day, Kassie instructed us that no matter what we were looking for on our trip (from culture like museums, adventure with activities, partying, to seeing everything each location has to offer), that she would help us achieve our dream trip. She did just that. We did the European Discovery tour where we started in London, went to Amsterdam, Munich, Hopfgarten, Rhine Valley, Venice, Florence, Rome, Lucerne and Paris. Throughout the entire trip, Kassie constantly was checking in with us to provide recommendations and help us when we reached our destination. Furthermore, she provided truly interesting information and fun on the bus rides between locations. Kassie was friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and incredibly professional. My husband and I still talk about how this was the trip of a lifetime and that we would love to relive every moment.
I would highly recommend Contiki and highly recommend Kassie. We hope to be able to take another trip with them in the future!

Kass is full of so much knowledge, and you could see that she really loved her job. There was never a question left unanswered and when things didn't quite go to plan she was on top of everything. E.g the ferry's were messed up for Greece & it meant we only had 1 night in Rome instead of 2. Kass made sure that the short time in Rome was spent well and there is not a thing that we missed out on after she spent all day guiding us personally around the city. Def goes above and beyond, and she sure knows how to party this gal!!! :P

I still look back on this trip as one of the best times of my life, and a lot of that had to do with Kas. She was such an amazing tour guide, but not only that she became a friend and I still think of her regularly and miss her. She was so full of energy and really uplifted the group. She provided wonderful information about each and every destination of which there were a lot. It didn't matter how many times she had been there before whenever she spoke of a new city she did so with an amazing amount of passion which got our entire ground (of over 40) seriously pumped. We had mishap after mishap (from muggings to multiple trips to the hospital) on our trip and she handled everything with such a level head. Will never forget my Contiki experience in 2012 and a huge reason for that is Kas. I've been on many tours over the world with multiple different companies, but Kas will always be one of my favorite guides. Will always appreciate everything she did for our group.

I chose the European Adventurer, which at the time was the longest tour of Europe (37 days), and Kassie Jones was our tour guide. Kassie was an absolutely amazing guide, she was friendly with everyone, always helpful and had to deal with our questions, whinges, and drunkeness! She knew so much about all the places we visited and I learnt so much about the various countries and it was a great first introduction to Europe. We found out at the end of our tour that it was in fact Kassie's first tour as a Contiki Guide and we couldn't believe it! We honestly thought she had been doing it for a while she was just that natural at it. I couldn't recommend Kassie or Contiki enough to my friends back home and the friends I made on the tour are still really great friends now and it's been 5 years since we went on that European tour!

I rate it as my best. Not just because Spain is an unbelieve country, and not just because I met so many wonderful people, it was also because of my Tour Manager Kassie. She was attentive to all my needs, particularly when I wanted to change room partners, she made this transition seamless. Since travelling on a few Contiki's I have realised the importance of keeping time, I think Kassie was able to maintain the schedule with little fuss. By day two Kassie was able to create "team" mentality among us, not through over trying, but rather her innate ability to encourage comradeship.
As I say I have been on three Contiki'a and Kassie is hands down by favourite Tour Manager. Keep up the stellar work.

Kassie, my tour manager really set the atmosphere and great vibes from the very first day. Her fun personality mixed with a wealth of European history and cultural knowledge made for a trip of a lifetime. The itinerary itself was the best of the best in my opinion: the perfect length, visiting the most famous and popular cities, and staying in the hostel-type accomodation ensured every night was super social amongst the others on my tour as well as other contiki groups. I really can't fault the trip at all!! Amazing memories!

It was tiring!!!Waking up early in the morning and dragging our suitcases to load them in the bus and face the cold weather and rain, didn’t quite suit me. Places to see were great!!
