How likely is that this trip will not be cancelled. I am hearing from other operators that if you do not have enough confirmed travelers, there is a chance of cancelling the tour.

What is the time for checkout from the hotel on the first day and the last day of the tour? Also the meeting points are at the check in hotels?

On the first day of the tour, you will check in at the initial hotel and stay overnight. The meeting point will be at this hotel around 4:00 PM. On the second day, you will check out and depart for the next destination at approximately 7:15 AM. On the last day of the tour, you are free to leave after breakfast, but the usual hotel check-out time is 12:00 PM. Yes, the meeting point on the first day will be at the check-in hotels.

Is this tour for families? We'd like to travel where there will be other kids present.

While Costsaver doesn't offer dedicated family tours, most departures including Glimpse of Europe (End Paris) are marked "All Ages from 5 years old and above are Welcome," so your 12-year-old son will be very welcome to join. However, if you'd prefer a tour specifically designed for families with activities tailored for kids, our sister brand Trafalgar offers fantastic family-focused itineraries that might be a better fit.

How many will be on this trip sept 14 and do you meet at the airport for transfer or do I find our way to hotel. Also would like to go a day early so would want to book hotel one day earlier. Can you arrange for a few days longer at end of trip as we will be staying longer in Paris

We don't have the exact number of guests confirmed on September departure. However, please note that the tour can accommodate a maximum of 48 guests per departure. Your tour will begin at the tour start hotel at approximately 16:00 on day one. Since Costsaver no longer provides airport transfers, we kindly ask that you arrange your own transportation to the start hotel. If you plan to arrive a day prior to the tour or extend your stay in Paris after the tour ends, we offer up to three nights of pre- and post-accommodation.

What amount of luggage is allowed? With one bag can i take a small airline carry on with wheels and telescopic handle

For this tour, luggage is restricted to one suitcase per person not exceeding 30"x18"x10" (76x46x25cm) and a maximum weight of 50lbs (23kg). In addition, each guest may bring one piece of carry-on/hand luggage not exceeding 12"x11"x6" (30x28x14cm) and 15.4lbs (7kg). This must fit under the coach seat or in the small overhead compartment and must be taken on and off the coach by the guest. Please note that carry-ons must be soft-sided and cannot have telescopic wheels or handles.

Do switzerland trips give senior travellers half day or time for rest? And can you do home pick-up if not where can we start our trip from London?

While our Switzerland trips don't include designated half-day rest periods specifically for senior travelers, our Travel Directors are always attentive to guests' comfort. They'll ensure there are opportunities to rest throughout the day, and will guide you to suitable places to relax if you're feeling tired. Regarding transfers, this particular trip begins in Amsterdam, not London. Costsaver does not offer home pick-up or airport transfers, so guests are kindly asked to make their own way to and from the airport at their own expense.

This tour was EXCELLENT and that was all thanks to Julie, our tour director. The tour itself was also excellent, the itinerary and all the optional extras were fantastic, we did them all, but Julie really made the trip unforgettable. We had not been on a tour before and were unsure what expect, maybe just being on a bus with a guide telling us some highlights or maybe an over the top, fake energy type, but no, we had Julie. From the very first night in Amsterdam she had us all sorted and feeling like we could relax, switch off our brains and just trust the process. Really all we had to do was be where we told when and then have a wine and relax. Her energy levels were bang on point and I don’t know how she kept track of everyone and everything and kept a smile on her face but she more than managed. Her knowledge of all the places we visited was truly astonishing knew no limits. We were also fortunate enough to have very skilled bus driver in Mario. He got us around safely and played a vital part in us having a great time! We will certainly be booking another trip and will happily rearrange our schedules/lives if it can be with Julie!Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 12th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 12th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Costsaver. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Costsaver will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
