Should I buy a one way to Paris then a one way back from England? And If i do buy these, would I just have to make sure they arrive/depart on the days we start? Or would I have to get a hotel for the time in between arriving in paris and when the tour starts?

You may absolutely book a one‑way flight to Paris and a one‑way flight departing from London. This is the most convenient option, as the tour begins in Paris and ends in London. Arrival in Paris: • You can arrive on Day 1 of the tour. • Your Trip Manager will meet the group at the hotel at approximately 18:00 (6:00 PM). • If your flight arrives early on the first day, that's perfectly fine as long as you can comfortably reach the starting hotel before this meeting time. Return to London: • At the end of the tour, there is a complimentary transfer back to London, which includes the ferry crossing. • Please note: • Arrival at the London hotel is expected around 18:30 (6:30 PM) • Because of this late arrival, a post‑night accommodation in London is required if you plan to fly out the following day or prefer not to travel immediately after arrival

My sister and I are quite keen to do this tour, but we were wondering if it would be available in November?

Regrettably, this tour is not yet available for November departures. We'll take your interest as valuable feedback. A great alternative to our Contiki European Highlights tour is the European Discovery tour, which also covers multiple iconic cities across Europe in a fast-paced itinerary, perfect for travelers who want to see as much as possible in a short time. The good news is that this tour does have departures in November 2026.

We have a mature 14 year old who is bigger than his 18 year old brother. Can we book this trip? I didn't know if it is kid friendly.

We have 4 in our party, ages 21,24, 55 and 57. The ages say up to 35. Can we sign up with the previos ages?

I went on the European Highlights tour with the absolute gems, Courtney, our trip manager and Marius, our driver. Courtney is funny, patient, and reliable. Guiding a bunch of people around the world requires a broad set of skills and Courtney has all of them. She has so much knowledge, ranging from random facts about a building’s history to where you can find amazing food at a good price. She frequently updated us on schedules to ensure that we were all comfortable and "in the know" about things. Marius is kind, cheerful and calm under pressure. It’s wild how well he can navigate any road and any rowdy driver. The organisation of the whole trip was very air-tight with exciting included and paid experiences. (Still thinking about that Tuscan Dinner.) I loved being able to see more of the world while having most of the admin stress of travelling off of my shoulders. My Contiki group was managed so well that a group of mostly strangers became a family. Such a fun and unforgettable experience, would recommend !!Show more

I loved working with her as a person and running The tour. I am So proud How she did it, The european Magic is a Very fast tour, Nine days, So The pace is high… She nailded it! Up and running with a smile and giving love to evereyone. I remember The last day in paris, we had to take another group back to Londen last minute in our coach, no problem quick shifting in gear by Rihanna and she took care of them..that went smooth… That whole tour went smooth happy people, because of a fantastic Tourmanager. Can you tell me about the age advice, I would like to do this tour but I am 63?

  Contiki tours have an age restriction, and guests must be between 18-35 years old to be eligible to join. Unfortunately, as your age does not meet this requirement, we are unable to proceed with your reservation for a Contiki tour. However, we would like to recommend one of our sister brands - CostSaver which is open to all ages, and may be a great fit for you. CostSaver has all essentials taken care of with the flexibility of 1000 Choice Experiences, to tailor your trip with your way. Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 2nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 2nd, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Contiki. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Contiki will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Contiki" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Contiki. Please familiarize yourself with the Contiki payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
