I have kids aged 4 and 12. Are the kids charged full price.

We have a Kids & Teen Deals wherein children must be aged 5-17 at time of travel and accompanied by at least one adult sharing a twin/double room to receive a discount of up to 10% off the land portion of the tour. Your 12-year-old would typically qualify for child pricing. However, a 4-year-old will not be eligible to travel on the tour.

Are we going to be picked up at the Madrid airport upon arrivals? Do you at any change have Spanish guides? Do we need to buy tickets in advance for any of the events we need to go?

Yes, complimentary arrival transfers are included on the first day of the trip, departing from Adolfo Suárez Madrid‐Barajas Airport (MAD) at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 4. Spanish‐speaking guides are not available on our trips. As for optional experiences, there's no need to purchase tickets in advance these will be offered and arranged directly through your Travel Director during the tour.

Please inform whether airport transfers are included in this tour or not?? What if we want airport transfers OR if it is complimentary from hotel?

There are complimentary airport transfers being offered on the first and last days of the tour. To qualify for arrival transfer in Madrid, flight must arrive prior to 1:30 PM from terminal 1 or 2:00 PM from terminal 4 on first day of the trip. For departure in Barcelona, flight must depart after 11:00 AM on the last day of the trip. Guests who have booked their extra hotel nights with Trafalgar, or whose flight times do not coincide with the shuttle coach timings may purchase a chargeable transfer.

How can I purchase the offered additional activities suggested on the tour description (such as Flamenco dancing night)?

The optional experiences can be purchased directly from your Travel Director during the trip, using either cash or credit card.

Can you kindly advise if you still have space for this departure date on the 21 of December for a triple room.

The trip departing on 21 December 2025 is available; however, the triple room is currently on request and may take 3-4 business days to be confirmed or declined.

I need an everything included trip, meals are not important but breakfasts would help, and I need flights from Liverpool or Birmingham I wont fly from Manchester, transfers too. At a price that wont bankrupt a solo traveller

For this tour departing 10-Oct-2026, the cost is £2,720.00 for a solo traveler in a single room, with the single supplement already included. Transfers are complimentary if you arrive and depart on the first and last day of the tour. International airfare isn't included, but you can search and book flights from Liverpool or Birmingham.

Are there toilets on the buses?

Coaches in Europe generally have two doors (front and middle) with on-board washroom. Coach toilets can be used only in case of emergency.

Do we have to join every outing on this tour? If we're staying in a particular town for a couple of nights, are we able to wander about and do our own exploring locally? For example, I have been to Barcelona before so I am not as interested in joining the group tour on this part of the trip and would like to simply explore the local shops and sights on my own.

Yes, you're absolutely welcome to explore on your own! However, if you choose to skip a group activity, like the tour in Barcelona, you're free to enjoy the city at your own pace. Just keep in mind that the overall trip cost remains the same, as the rate is based on the full package, regardless of which portions you choose to join.

Is the transfer airport hotel and hotel airport included?

Do u pick up and drop off hotel everyday? Is that included? My parents are both old so they really need for the whole tours pick up and drop off hotel so pls let me know before I book this tours

If I can give negative stars then I would give -100 stars. Stay away from Trafalgar. On their instructions we didn't get an in transit visa, only to be turned away at the airport. When we queried this with them they told us to look at their booking conditions, they do not take any responsibility for any incorrect information that they provided. We were supposed to celebrate 3 very momentous occasions only to be left stranded at the airport. The best part is that they invited us back to go to a presentation for upcoming tours. No refund, no credit. They have our money and we have a sour taste, bad experience. Never again Trafalgar. You do not care about your clients.Show more

We gained an insight into the Spanish people and culture and their marvelously diverse country that we will always remember. Geographically we saw the large cities of Madrid and Barcelona as well as the agricultural areas of the south. To have seen Mayer Plaza in Madrid on the National Day gave us a good sense of the exuberance of the Spanish people in celebration. From a historical perspective we became acquainted with Cordoba, Seville, and Granada and their Moorish past. We fully appreciated how well the tour was run and managed for the whole nine days. Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 24th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 24th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Trafalgar. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Trafalgar will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Trafalgar" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
