  We fit a lot of places into a short space of time. I wish I had more time in each place... They were all so beautiful and Im sure there was so much more left to explore. But we got a lot of main attractions in and some amazing optional experiences (some of which maybe could have been incorporated into the main tour instead of making them optional but I suppose those were places that required tickets to be purchased and so this is why they were "optional". Our tour manager was a truly lovely person, the bus driver had mad skills and I felt safe with him the entire time and the local specialists were spectacular (especially our funny man in Toledo!! *If you know, you know*). My tour group wasn't bad either... a very diverse group of people who were all very pleasant. All in all an amazing experience :)Show more

While we recognise exploring these two beautiful countries in a condensed amount of time can be quite an adventure, we strive to include the perfect amount of time at each location for in-depth discovery, and there are certain towns where we wish to stay longer.   I made a promise to my grandfather before he died long time ago that I will visit the countries he lived in. This was my first country (Spain) but, trust me, what I say, Kassie and Luis made my trip so pleasant and great that my heart will always be grateful for those two excellent people. In fact, my next visit will be Italy, hoping that Kassie will be my tour director for this next tour. Thank you for having such a great person as Kassie in your team.Show more

  Good combination of planned activities and free time or optional activities. Nice to stay two nights in each hotel. Good additional local guides. Only negative was lack of usable bathroom on bus. They did take rest stops every 2-3 hours.Show more

  The Iberian Explorer tour (Costsaver Trafalgar) hosted by Kassie Jones was a truly unforgettable experience. As our tour director, she was exceptional in her planning, communication, knowledge and caring towards all our fellow travellers. Our pilot, Joao, was an absolute genius behind the wheel of our large tour bus, displaying a skill that was truly remarkable. Anyone else who is fortunate enough to travel with them is in store for the holiday that they could previously only dream of. The tour itself was well structured, with a pace that was manageable by all age groups on the bus. The coach itself was comfortable and we could easily tolerate the long journeys. The hotels were mostly excellent, barring for a couple of them that were last minute changes - that weren't up to par, but overall we were happy. The only suggestion I would make to a potential traveller; is don't waste your time with the included dinners, as they are quite bad. Rather make your own reservations/plans for a quality local eatery, that way, no regrets for time lost.Show more

  The trip exceeded my expectations,excellent choice of places to visit. The tour director Kassie Jones has excellent knowledge of the places visited, very well informed and has up to date info of current event. She’s very considerate and caring, fair and friendly to all. She has rigid but flexible schedule that accounts for the smooth transition from one interesting place to another. She’s always looking for the safety of everybody never leaves anyone behind. She gives precise instructions on where to go, shop and meet on the time alloted. Excellent choices of places to dine and shop. For a cost saver the hotels are good and presentable except for its distance from the city center. The driver has excellent skills and also very friendly. He kept us safe as well as our belongings.
