  By large, I enjoyed the tour, the tour guides speak understandable English which makes our communication easier; they are also pretty punctual in terms of the pickup time; the accommodations in all locations are very good. Having said that, I also want to point out few improvement areas: 1. During the three days in Taipei, you could add a going around the city center route; it can replace some of the stops you had on the current plan, 2. It will also be ideal if we can have the same tour guide for all three days and it will give us a sense of consistence. 3. It will also be beneficial if you can offer some optional packages (dinner cruise, visit one of the night market, etc). Overall, I/we enjoyed the trip very ,uch and I plan to do another (South Korea/Japan) late this year. thanks, JohnShow more

  This was a difficult tour given the threat of a typhoon which closed certain sites like national parks and on the last day we braved a monsoon, getting soaked to the skin and going back to the bus earlier than we wanted. Alan, our tour guide, was humourous, very knowledgeable and adaptable. The only problem was his habit of charging off the bus and racing ahead leaving those of us at the back trying to catch up or even locate him at times. Other guides also rushed certain site visits, but were generally excellent as well.Show more

  Overall the tour was pretty well organised. No hiccups except for typhoon Podul that hit Taitung on the day we were supposed to be spending a night there. Disappointed for not being able to tour the East Coast as our itinerary had to be changed for our safety and we head back to Taipei along the west coast. The tour guides and drivers were fantastic, friendly and helpful. 5 star service but content of the tour was a bit underwhelming. Taking into consideration the sites we visited, food and people in Taiwan who were very welcoming and friendly, the trip was enjoyable for me.Show more

  We have just returned from a 10 day 'Around Formosa' tour of Taiwan arranged through tourradar and MW tours and couldn't be more satisfied. The tour bus was comfortable, each days itinerary covered different sights and aspects of the island , all very interesting. The hotels used throughout were 5 star and good standard and breakfasts excellent. Both tour guides we had Alan for the 5 days best of Taiwan part and Tony for the day trips out of Taipei were professional , knowledgeable, organised and pleasant.Show more

  We are very pleased with this tour. We got to see what we have always wanted to see. The tour is well organized. The tour guide, Ciao, for the 5 days tour was outstanding. Anyone who is interested to see the whole island, I would recommend this tour. Despite the 11 days spent, there is still much to experience in Taiwan. I would gladly return one day.Show more

  Typhoon Krathon brought havoc to the 5-day tour. We spent 3 nights in a hotel in Kaohsiung, and missed out entirely on the scenic East Coast. I actually think that, given the recent earthquake there and fairly predictable risk of landslides, the tour should have involved more half-day/day trips from Taipei.
