I cannot thank Balkan Explorer enough for this amazing tour. It so happened that I was the only one on this tour and BE made it happen. As a single lady who had travelled across the continents for this to have it cancelled as no one else signed up for it would have been so terrible for me. My guide Ervin Daja was a fantastic guide. He was kind, patient and a perfect gentleman. He was always punctual, a trait that I appreciate a lot. And in addition, he was always on the watch out in case I had any difficulty, whether it was with my luggage or just with translating. Since it was only the 2 of us, we had a freedom of time and the luxury to go off the program to visit sites that he recommended. As for the whole tour itself, it was well put together. These are amazing countries to visit with so much of history and culture and I felt I could not learn enough in the 9 days I was there. Albania is a beautiful country with so much to offer. The hotels were clean, and all were central. There was lots of walking involved. I went in March, so it was just before the tourist season started so it was perfect without the crowds. All in all, a great tour and a great guide. My sincere thanks to tour radar, Balkan Explorer and to Ervin Daja.Show more
