As an American citizen can I take this tour in Botswana without getting a visa? How much more will it cost me to request a private accommodation, if possible? The tour starts in Maun. Would this mean traveling from Europe, I would have to fly to Kasane international airport and then fly to Maun? Is airport pick up and drop off included in the tour's price? Is there a danger of malaria in Botswana?

Botswana does not require a visa, however Zimbabwe requires a visa upon arrival $30 upon entry. For a private room you are going to pay $500.

Price changed from 2500 to 2800 and we would like to have bedrooms separately.

Tour price will be increasing with demand to get September is high season for tourism. To get September room you will have to pay $250 each. Kindly go ahead and book them we will do the amendment once it's booking is confirmed.

What is the standard of accommodation. If the accommodation is camping what equipment is provided and what would I be expected to provide. For example stretchers, mattresses, sleeping bags etc. What is the maximum number of people in each tour party.

Our budget is 3star accommodate for example in Kasane we use travel lodge/ the big 5 Taro lodge. All camping equipment and linens is provided by the company. 2 Peale share a tent. You just have to bring the following. Mosquito repellent. Flash light. Camera.

It was a nice variation of game drive, boatcruise, sunset cruise, flats of the saltpans, lodges, campsite with small tents, campsite with larger tent (room with bathroom), overnight under the stars on an outdoor matras without a tent, etc. Our driver/guide Shakes was super great. He took good care of us and we had very interesting conversations on the road. The food was also good. The only negative thing was that we didn't get a transfers at the start and the end of the safari. Little Roz asked us to go to the first lodge ourselves and the same at the end, which we had to pay for ourselves. And we didn't get the breakfast the last 2 days, so we had to pay for that as well But all togetherShow more

We had a wonderful time! Rocky, Jimmy, and Simba were excellent as drivers, guides, cooks, and problem solvers. We ate very well indeed. I will comment that the tour we took was quite different from the stated description of it. For example, we did not go to the salt pan. It seems that Rocky, the boss of the crew, received a different itinerary than what we thought we would be doing. How did that happen? The places we did go were terrific, and it was not until the second last day of the trip, that we realised the discrepancy. Rocky offered us a way to go to the salt pan, but for a couple of reasons, we declined that offer. Please note that I am not complaining about Rocky, Jimmy, and Simba. They followed the information they had received. I will also say that while we were accepting of the situation, some people could have reacted differently, and that would not have been fair to our crew. To summarise, we loved the trip! Park closes at 6pm so all drives around the park are done before that. 5. Yes in Okavango Delta. 6. On day 8 trip ends after breakfast you can decide to eat your breakfast early. It's 1 hour from Kasane to Victoria Falls.
