  Fabulous Roman Ruin tour through Tunisia. It was everything I expected & more. My guide, Radwan was exceptional with his historical knowledge & expertise. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. My driver, Sabil was courteous and safe at all times. All the accommodations were clean, roomie, and comfortable. Even though my hotel in Tunis was near the beach, I would’ve preferred to be closer to the Medina. Fortunately, I had spent two days prior to my tour starting at the Medina site so it wasn’t an inconvenience. The food was fantastic at the chosen hotels with a wide variety of options from a buffet, the lunch stops at various restaurants were pre-arranged meals according to location. Very freshShow more

Our guide was a mine of information and was responsive to our wishes. Our driver moved us around swiftly, safely and with great courtesy. The standard of food and accommodation was good throughout.   a really great itinerary that avoids most of the typical group tour cliches (carpet store, jewelry factory, dinner with cultural dancing...). it felt a little more authentic and less driven to spend money. many types of ruins that highlight Tunisia's varied history, sometimes it can be a little too much too quickly because you're hopping around millennia at each stop. I did get confused, but fortunately had a wonderful couple also on the tour who were open to teaching me along with the guide. There were only 4 of us on this tour; same group, guide and driver throughout. There were a couple of city tours but this itinerary really concentrates on ruins. I really enjoyed the walking, almost hiking, we did at some locations to see a mix of reconstructed and more natural ruins. some language barrier issues and translation issues more than I've had with some countries/tours, but made it quirky and an experience. Felt completely safe and well looked after. The driver and guide did an exceptional job making sure my mother was comfortable and taken care of if she ever looked out of place. The people and company also reacted well to all the COVID stuff so we were able to fly in/out mostly stress-free. The hotels were not always the best, maybe the rooms were run down because of lack of tourism. None of the hotels were well situated to wander; they were far from city center. On the plus side each day was busy enough we didn't have a lot of free time (energy) to wander, but it would be nice to have had the option. Recommend, if possible, to request a different hotel in Tunis, for both cleanliness and location. Really enjoyed this country, the tour, and the people. Highly recommend for anyone on the fence.Show more
