What would be the total price per person for the tour and transfers package WITHOUT accommodation (land-only option)?

If our clients stay at Hotel Atlantico Star in Copacabana / Leme, is direct pickup and drop-off available at this hotel for all daily tours and airport transfers?

Is the pick up from the airport and the stay in the hotel also included? And if my flight is leaving on friday evening. Do I have the possibilty to have a pick up and go to the airport later?

Yes, both the arrival and departure airport transfers are included in the tour price. We arrange them according to your international flight schedule. However, please note that hotel check-in is normally from 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM (noon). So, if your flight arrives early in the morning, your room may not be ready yet. Likewise, if your return flight departs late in the evening, you will need to check out by noon, although the transfer to the airport will still be arranged according to your flight time.

Can you pick up at the airport to meet a flight landing at 00:25 in the morning?

Yes, no problem. However, please note that hotel check-in is usually from 2:00 PM onwards. Therefore, if you would like to have the room available immediately upon arrival during the night, you should consider booking the hotel starting from the previous day.

Do children up to a certain age not pay on tours?

Children up to 5 years old do not pay.

Can you confirm which hotel will we be staying in if we book now? Will it still be Windsor Copa as advertised in the website? Also, you will be picking us up from the airport and dropping us off at the airport, right?

For that travel period, the hotel would most likely be either B&B Hotels Rio Copacabana Posto 5 or Riale Vilamar Copacabana, depending on final availability at the time of booking. Both are well-located options in the Copacabana area. As you are a group of 7 people, I would also be happy to arrange the tours on a private basis at no extra supplement, as a courtesy. The airport transfers on the first and last day are included in the price. We would organize them according to your arrival and departure schedules.

Since I will be traveling by myself, do you guys create a group chat to meet other travelers prior to the departure date?

Please notice that this tour includes group excursions but it's not a "real" group trip. So we don't put any traveler in touch.

I am a solo trawler, is the $725.00 a set price?

Yes, the amount of USD 725.00 is the set price for a solo travelers.

Is this a group tour with the same people the whole time or different? Do you have an added/extended/longer tour that includes iguana falls?

The excursions are with different people. It's not a pure group trip. We can include an extensions to the falls if you want, but it would be private.

Can a solo traveler join another solo traveler in a double room to book the tour?

Unfortunately we don't offer this option. This package includes private transfers and excursions with other people who book on other platforms as well. It's not a pure group trip.

Are there many people on each tour? Is it safe for driver to pick up a single woman from the airport? Will you tell me who is the driver beforehand and tell me the license plate number?

Group tours are for up to 12 people. For the airport transfer it is safe yes. There's no risk about it. We don't share driver's information because it can change last minute. However, most of the drivers send a message to the customer before landing in order to organize the meeting point.

Overall, we had a decent experience in Rio with room for improvement. Transfers to/from airport were well communicated via WhatsApp. Staff at Hotel Ibis Posto 5 were welcoming and common spaces were nice at this hotel. The included breakfast was very good. Rooms at Ibis Posto 5 were small and basic. Our full day of touring was super with a competent guide who clearly outlined highlights of Rio. The second half day was disappointing - we were not able to complete the itinerary due to power outages, crowds and traffic issues. I requested compensation from the local tour operator to no avail. Better planning on their behalf would have prevented wasting our time that afternoon. We did have a good rapport with our guide and realize some things were out of his control. Overall, a decent budget experience with some highlights and some disappointment.Show more

We did not receive any request for compensation or refund from you. Perhaps you raised the matter directly with our local suppliers? In any case, any complaint or request for compensation should ideally be addressed to us directly, as we are the agency responsible for organizing your trip. This allows us to investigate the situation with our suppliers, intervene when necessary, and, where appropriate, make the necessary improvements. I’m therefore genuinely sorry that you did not contact me directly, as I would certainly have looked into the matter for you. Regarding the difficulties during the second tour, it is true that there were several problems that day. However, Rio had been affected the previous day by an exceptional weather event, which caused significant disruption throughout the city. Some of the consequences were unfortunately not foreseeable and only became apparent on the morning of the tour, including power outages, traffic disruptions and unusual crowds. That being said, I understand your frustration, especially as you had limited time in Rio and were unable to complete the planned itinerary. I’m glad at least to hear that you had a good rapport with your guide and that the full-day tour was a positive experience. We take this kind of feedback seriously and will certainly share your comments with our local team so that we can improve our planning and communication in similar situations. Unfortunately the guides on the the tour were not great, on the first day we were in a German-English combination tour and the guide, Katrin, felt passionless and I left the tour feeling as though I did not learn much about such a great city. On the second day we had Alberto, who was much better and took the time to explain more of the city to us in detail. Overall for convenience, ETours does make planning a bit easier but this is very much a trip I could have organized on my own.Show more
