Waman organised for local guides at most places that were well versed in their knowledge of their respective areas. Ernesto was a fantastic guide that made us feel comfortable despite feeling sick for most of the time through to Macchu Picchu and either side of it. This was one of first all inclusive tours with everything covered and everything went smoothly with the planning. Regarding the weather during those dates: Cusco: December is part of the rainy season. You can expect mild temperatures during the day (around 15–20°C / 59–68°F), with some showers. A light rain jacket and comfortable layers are recommended. Lima: December marks the beginning of summer. The weather is usually warm, humid, and mostly sunny, with temperatures around 24–28°C (75–82°F). Light clothing is perfect for this time.

Our friendly recommendation: Russell should begin the trip on November 27 or November 28 in order to enjoy Circuit 2 during his visit to Machu Picchu. This is the most complete route and offers the best panoramic views of the citadel. Important: Machu Picchu tickets are selling out very quickly, especially for Circuit 2. Option 2: Fly from Cusco to Buenos Aires If you prefer to manage your flight from Cusco to Buenos Aires, that is also possible. In this case, we can adjust the price of the tour for you, removing the budget destined to the domestic flight Cusco → Lima, and you can use that budget toward your international ticket.

Considering that the client prefers not to engage in walking activities, we can remove the Rainbow Mountain visit, since this does involve more physical effort. Here is a proposed adjusted itinerary: Day 1: Arrival in Lima – City Tour. Day 2: Paracas, Ica & Huacachina with Buggies and Sandboarding. Day 3: Transfer to Lima Airport – Flight from Lima to Cusco – Arrival in Cusco. Day 4: Tour to Chinchero, Maras & Moray. Day 5: Visit to Machu Picchu Inca Citadel. Day 6: Transfer to Cusco Airport.
