At the moment, your friend would not have a guaranteed ticket included with the reservation. If she still wishes to join, one option is that she can try to purchase a last-minute ticket directly in Aguas Calientes. However, please keep in mind that this is subject to availability and not guaranteed, as tickets are very limited. We recommend confirming as soon as possible so we can check if there is any availability left and assist you in the best way.

I am a solo traveller interested in the May 11th trip. I would like to know what is the average age of the group please and if you have a lot of solo travellers? Also, if I would like to stay a few more days in Cuzco at the end, is there a way to choose another return date for the Cuzco-Lima internal flight?

I'm planning a trip with my parents, who may not be able to do the 2 hr hike up Rainbow Mountain. Is there an alternative where they can do less hiking (for example, I saw online that there are ATV or motorcycle tours which involve much less walking)?

Yes, of course, there are great alternatives to reduce the amount of hiking at Rainbow Mountain. We can offer the ATV (quad bike) tour, which allows you to get much closer to the viewpoint with significantly less walking. Additionally, there is also the option to rent a horse, which can help your parents reach the main viewpoints more comfortably without needing to hike the full distance.

Does this trip include both flights Lima to cusco and at end of tour back to Lima?

Yes, this trip does include the local flights from Lima to Cusco and from Cusco back to Lima. For your international flights: Arrival in Lima: We recommend arriving in the morning, around 11:00 AM, as the Lima City Tour usually starts between 1:30 PM and 2:10 PM Departure from Lima: On the last day, we suggest booking your international flight around 7:00 PM, so you have enough time to connect comfortably after your domestic flight If you need any assistance coordinating your flights, we will be happy to help.

Unfortunately, there is currently no availability for Machu Picchu tickets in April and May 2026. This situation applies to all operators, as ticket availability is managed centrally, and at this point, access is completely sold out. Because of this, we kindly recommend considering a different travel date when tickets are available again. This will allow us to properly organize your visit, including the Machu Picchu circuit and any additional hikes such as Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.

Does the tour conclude in Lima or Cusco, and at which airport does the tour end?

Our activities concludes with the transfer to Cusco Airport. At this point, you will take the local flight from Cusco to Lima (Local Flight included). I am very happy with this trip and I would like to share my experience.😁❤️ I will start with Day 1. From the moment I arrived, everything was very well organized. I was welcomed at the airport with a sign with my name on it, which was very helpful. A few days before, I had also received clear instructions on what to prepare, which gave me peace of mind. Since my flight arrived in the morning, I was able to enter to my rooom at the hotel as soon as I have arrived, Tip: If you arrive very early request pre accommodattion This included breakfast, so I could eat and then go out to explore the city. In the afternoon, I had the city tour. I was picked up directly from the hotel, and the guide was very kind to everyone. They even recorded a drone video, which I found amazing. On Day 2, the pickup was very early. I thought I would miss breakfast, but that was not the case, as the guide took us to a local restaurant. They explained that on early pickup days, breakfast is provided at local restaurants. My favorite activity that day was the sandboarding, as the sunset was absolutely beautiful.🤩 On Day 3, was arranged the flight to Cusco, qnd Luz sent me my boarding passes in advance, so I did not have to worry about anything. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by Hussein in the arrivals area. He speaks very good English and shared useful information during the transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, I had a meeting with the guide Fredy, also known as “Papa Freddy,” who explained all the upcoming activities in detail. On Day 4, after breakfast, we started our tour. We visited places where we learned how local women make textiles, then we went to the terraces and the Maras salt mines. There, I bought chocolate with Maras salt, which was delicious—I highly recommend it. Before taking the train, we went for lunch. It was not included, but the guide gave us several options to choose from. The buffet was very good. In the afternoon, we took the train to Aguas Calientes. In Aguas Calientes, I was able to rest and get ready for the next day, as I was very excited to visit Machu Picchu. On Day 5, after breakfast, the guide picked us up. It was a small group, which made the experience more personal. At Machu Picchu, the guide explained a lot about the history. I really appreciated how patient and kind he was, allowing everyone to explore at their own pace. On Day 6, we visited Rainbow Mountain, which I was a bit concerned about due to the altitude. The pickup was very early, and once again we had breakfast at a local restaurant. I decided to go on horseback, which was a great decision because I was able to enjoy the scenery much more.Finally, on Day 7, it was time to say goodbye. Once again, Luz had everything organized and sent me my boarding passes, so I only had to wait for my transfer and take my flight back home. Overall, it was a very well-organized trip with excellent guides and constant support throughout. I'm planning a trip with my parents, who may not be able to do the 2 hr hike up Rainbow Mountain. Is there an alternative where they can do less hiking (for example, I saw online that there are ATV or motorcycle tours which involve much less walking)?

This situation applies to all operators, as ticket availability is managed centrally, and at this point, access is completely sold out. Because of this, we kindly recommend considering a different travel date when tickets are available again. This will allow us to properly organize your visit, including the Machu Picchu circuit and any additional hikes such as Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.
