Which circuit at Machu Picchu is included? If it's Machu Picchu Circuit 1 - can we complete the ticket with the citadel by paying an additional fee in cash?

Unfortunately, we don't entrance available to inca trail 2 days. For the moment we only can organize your trekking to Salkantay during 5 days with circuit 1 to Machu Picchu. That is the only available by the main system of Culture ministry.

Can my client take her service dog on this tour?

About your request, I'm very sorry, but it's difficult to take an assistance dog on the trail, as animals are not allowed. There are horses on the Salkantay trail, and on the first night you have a tent, so there would be nowhere for you to rest with your dog. Furthermore, they won't let you take your dog on the Inca Trail or to Machu Picchu. I can only take him on the train under the following conditions, then leave him until I finish my visit at the hotel. Dog breed. Dog size. Certificate proving that the dog is a support or emotional assistance dog. Vaccination card. Medical certificate issued by a mental health professional proving the passenger's condition, which requires them to travel with their pet. The pet must travel in a kennel or wear a muzzle; this is determined based on the size of the dog and the service on which it will travel.

I have tried to book a tour to be told this is not available. Please let me know when this tour will be running? Also why does this tour show available dates but I am now told (after entering payment details) this is the rainy season and not possible in February. It would be really helpful if the site was accurate so I can plan my trip easier.

Currently this rainy season is affecting the roads so they're getting into restorations. These routes will reopen in March, and for the moment we do not have confirmed groups, we can send you in February our available dates according to the reservations that arrive.

Would strongly recommend this tour. It’s a packed itinerary, but absolutely worth it as it offers a comprehensive look at Peru—from the coast to the Andes and the jungle—along with its incredible food and culture. I loved all the places I have been to, they all offer different exepriences. Although the highlight for me was Cusco and the Sacred Valley incl. Machu Picchu and Inca Trail (switched Salkantay trail to Inca Trail), which really captured the magic of the country. While I was the only one booked on the full itinerary, I joined different groups each day, which made it easy to meet new people and share experiences along the way. Everything was very well organized, and the logistics ran smoothly throughout the trip. From Ica to Cusco, Manu was my guide, and he made a huge difference. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always kept me informed about the next day’s plans while making sure I was comfortable and enjoying myself. The trip wouldn’t have been the same without him! This tour is perfect for travelers who want to see a wide range of what Peru has to offer and don’t mind a fairly active schedule. I would highly recommend it.Show more

The tour was great with all the activities and experiences. They took care of all modes of transportation, from picking us up from the airport to dropping us back to catch our flight. Our guides Ronal and Tito were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There was some disorganisation and confusion with the company for the itinerary we had booked and what they had scheduled us for, so be careful when checking in to check the details. But they immediately took care of it the moment we let them know. The lodge and rooms were great. This is out in the jungle, and the staff tries to keep it as close to nature as possible. But a fan, some extra toilet paper, and some more vegetarian meal options would have made it a little more comfortable.Show more

  Thank you for the explanation, that makes much more sense. After looking into it I realise I cannot do March and the alternative trek you sent does not suit me. Please cancel the payment and remove my details - I am reconsidering my plans and may not visit South America after all.
