Itinerary

Day 1
Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
You'll get picked up from your accommodation in Arusha after having breakfast, then drive for about 90 minutes to reach Lake Manyara National Park. The day is spent on game drives through this birding hotspot that has over 350 bird species, and you'll have chances to see the famous tree-climbing lions in the area. A picnic lunch is set up for you in the park, and then you'll head back to your lodge for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater
This morning starts early at 6:00 AM with a 30-minute transfer to Ngorongoro Crater. You'll spend the day doing game drives throughout the crater floor, where you're likely to spot black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and serval cats. Lunch is a picnic served inside the crater. By late afternoon you'll head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Tarangire National Park
You'll transfer to Tarangire National Park, which is one of Tanzania's beautiful parks but doesn't get as many visitors as some of the others in the north. During dry season, animals gather along the Tarangire River since it's the only water source left in the park. Your day includes game drives and walking safaris, and you'll see scenic baobab trees plus have opportunities for great sunset views. Wildlife here includes wild dogs, lions, cheetahs, elephants, monkeys, and leopards. After your activities, you'll return to your tented camp for dinner and overnight.

This was a fabulous safari - we could not have asked for better planning, lodging, game drives and guides. It was miles more than we expected and was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you so much to Irene and to guide Joseph for an incredible 10 days. You both are the BEST! We saw so much and none of it would have happened without Muraa. They are fantastic!

Muraa was fantastic! Our guides, Joseph Mushi and owner Irene Adiel could not have been more wonderful. Very extensive game drives, amazing guidance on all aspects of the parks and the wildebeest migration, comfortable lodgings and really fun company. I cannot praise them highly enough. A once in a lifetime adventure — SO worth it!!!

Payment information
- For any tour departing before February 21st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 21st, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Muraa African Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
