It took all the stress and worry out of planning and made it so that I could see and do more in Costa Rica during our time there. Having a local guide who was passionate about his country and culture definitely made it more enjoyable and it was an honor to learn and experience Costa Rica in that way. Of the optional activities, the only pre-bookable ones are Costa Rica Adrenaline Bundle $149 and Monteverde Night Walk $30. White water rafting on Day 5 costs $61-$86. Other optional activities include: Santa Elena Cloud Forest Guided Tour $50, Hanging Bridges Monteverde $47, Ziplining $60, Hot Springs Soak $42-$84, La Fortuna Waterfall Swim $20.

We currently only have two spaces left on the 27th January 2025 departure for Costa Rica: Monteverde and La Fortuna. These two spaces are also on request. It generally takes 3-5 business days to receive a response. If space is available, you will be booked and confirmed on the tour, if space is not available, then we can look at alternative tours, dates, or will issue a full refund. We recommend holding off on arranging flights and travel insurance until the trip is confirmed, as there are often cancellation/change penalties.

The cost of this package is $149 USD. It includes two activities: Canyoneering and Ziplining. Canyoneering is a 6-hour half-day activity in the rainforests around Arenal Volcano with transportation, lunch, equipment, and an English-speaking guide. Ziplining is a 3.5-hour activity offering a bird's-eye view of the rainforest canopy. Weight and height restrictions apply: Weight 45-100 kg, Height minimum 130 cm. Children under six cannot participate.
