      does the optional activities cost more, like the white water rafting- how much is that? It is confusing because several itinerary days states enjoy a free day of optional activity (like white water rafting) but the adrenaline bundle is only for Day 3. thanks

      Of the optional activities, the only pre-bookable ones are Costa Rica Adrenaline Bundle $149 and Monteverde Night Walk $30. White water rafting on Day 5 costs $61-$86. Other optional activities include: Santa Elena Cloud Forest Guided Tour $50, Hanging Bridges Monteverde $47, Ziplining $60, Hot Springs Soak $42-$84, La Fortuna Waterfall Swim $20.

      We currently only have two spaces left on the 27th January 2025 departure for Costa Rica: Monteverde and La Fortuna. These two spaces are also on request. It generally takes 3-5 business days to receive a response. If space is available, you will be booked and confirmed on the tour, if space is not available, then we can look at alternative tours, dates, or will issue a full refund. We recommend holding off on arranging flights and travel insurance until the trip is confirmed, as there are often cancellation/change penalties.

    • For any tour departing before June 4th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 4th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
