  As vaccination and medication recommendations can vary depending on your personal medical history and the most current health advice, we recommend consulting your doctor or a travel health specialist well before departure for up-to-date medical guidance and any necessary vaccinations.
  
  Regarding Yellow Fever, a valid International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever may be required if you are arriving from or travelling through a country with a risk of Yellow Fever transmission (such as Kenya). You may be asked to present this certificate at airports, border crossings, or even upon returning to your home country. Entry may be denied in some cases if you are unable to provide the required documentation.
  
  It is your responsibility to check the latest requirements with your doctor or relevant government travel advisory before travelling.
  
  Regarding Malaria, it is present in many parts of East Africa. We recommend discussing your specific itinerary with your healthcare provider, who can advise whether antimalarial medication is appropriate for you. Travellers are also encouraged to protect themselves from mosquito bites by:
  
  Using insect repellent
  Wearing long, loose-fitting, light-coloured clothing
  Taking additional mosquito-avoidance precautions as recommended by their doctor

For tours departing after October 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
