Amsterdam
You'll arrive in Amsterdam and head to your ship for check-in. If you have time before boarding, the afternoon is open for exploring the city. The Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are both worth stopping by if you want to squeeze in some culture before getting settled on board.

- Day 2
Kinderdijk
This morning you'll sail to Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its windmill network. You'll tour the windmills and learn about the flood management systems, then actually go inside a working windmill to see how it operates and where people lived. Back on the ship, you'll taste Dutch cheeses and jenever, followed by a presentation about the Dutch Golden Age. The ship cruises through the night.

Cologne's Old Town is on the morning schedule, where you'll see St. Martin's Church and the Dom cathedral. After that, the afternoon is yours to wander the waterfront or take optional excursions like climbing to the top of the Dom or diving into the city's beer culture with a Kölsch tasting. You'll head back to the ship for evening departure.

Rüdesheim
After disembarking, you can tour the 700-year-old Marksburg Castle or choose other options like Ehrenbreitstein Fortress or a guided walk through Koblenz. Later, the ship cruises through the scenic Middle Rhine Valley with views of hilltop castles. You'll arrive in Rüdesheim for free time in the pedestrian Drosselgasse to grab dinner on board or in town, or book an optional shore dinner. The ship departs after midnight.

After breakfast, you'll disembark to explore Heidelberg and tour its 11th-century castle ruins that overlook the Neckar River Valley. You'll walk through Old Town and visit the historic gates. On your way back to the ship, you'll stop in Speyer to see its imposing Romanesque cathedral with its ornate interior.

The afternoon is free for exploring the city's mix of French and German cultures, churches, medieval bridges, and art nouveau architecture. Optional excursions are available to Alsatian wine country or a culinary tour. That evening, there's a 'Taste of Germany' dinner event on board.

You'll dock in Breisach and head out on a scenic drive through the Black Forest mountains, meadows, and forests. There's a stop at a local workshop for a cuckoo clock-making demonstration and to see how Black Forest Cake is made. You'll return to the ship for lunch. Optional afternoon excursions let you visit the storybook town of Colmar or explore World War II history. Evening dinner is on board, and the ship cruises overnight.
