If you're worry about the long trekking, let me suggest like that, you can skip Y Linh Ho and arrange a transfer from hotel to Lao Chai village to have your lunch and take your trekking in the afternoon, it'll be more comfortable?

I had a very good time on this trip. Both Tour Radar and the local tour operator "Realistic Asia" were on top of their game. Tháng (my local guide) was always available to assist whenever needed. The reason I am rating this trip 4 stars is because I fell victim to my own expectations. I have traveled thru other less developed countries and both Vietnam and Thailand were not much different. Food was good in both countries but after a while having similar food each day got a little boring for me. I also don't eat pork so I had to find alternatives as many things are made with pork. Tour guides for local tours were all friendly and helpful. Three days dedicated to Sapa was not my cup of tea as I only enjoy hiking so much. Traveling almost 6 hours each way from Hanoi to Sapa for a few hours of hiking was not worth it to me. Halong Bay overnight cruise was the highlight of my trip. Walking city food tours in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok is worth doing. All in all I recommend taking this trip. Hotels were all A+ and travel arrangements within countries all good. Phuket is a wonderful destination if you like beaches and a laid back lifestyle.Show more

My friends and I had a great time seeing a lot of spectacular landscapes in Vietnam and Thailand. The day activities were enjoyable for both the elder and the young. We worried a bit about trekking in Sapa, because one of us had problems with her legs, but the guides arranged it at a slow pace and adjusted the route for us. I didn’t think Vietnam was so magnificent until this trip. Thailand was incredible too, the food was fantastic, and we even visited the cooing school in Phuket. It was the third time I’d been to Thailand, but this time was the best because Realistic Asia arranged it so well. Previously I was visiting only island destinations like Phuket and Samui, and this time it was my first visit to Bangkok and Chiang Mai. I saw a completely different Thailand with incredibly beautiful nature and stunning temples. The visit to the elephant sanctuary was a highlight, and what I liked about it, is that the animals were treated well, and there were no rides offered, it was a real sanctuary.   About Day 5: Trekking Through The Beautiful Landscapes - Y Ling Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van. Actually, it is not too hard, mainly concrete roads, going through villages and going downhill. If you're worry about the long trekking, let me suggest like that, you can skip Y Linh Ho and arrange a transfer from hotel to Lao Chai village to have your lunch and take your trekking in the afternoon, it'll be more comfortable?

Do you have a tour that offers Hoi An, DaNanng, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok and Phuket? Can you offer possible itinerary for these? Is it a long wait for customs when flying as a Canadian. Do not want to spend 5 hours in an airport for a 1-2 hour flight.

You charge more than twice the price for a single traveller than you do for two people in a room. On top of that, you have not taken into account that two people eat twice as many meals as one person, take up two seats on flights and cars and have two entry fees instead of one. In other words, your single supplement is at least 150%.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Realistic Asia. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Realistic Asia will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
