Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech to Oukaimeden to Tacheddirt
You'll drive from Marrakech to Oukaimeden where you'll meet your mule team and guide for the trek ahead. Before heading out, there's time to see ancient rock carvings in the area. The route climbs over Tizi n'Addi Pass, which offers great views across the mountain landscape. After crossing the pass, you'll descend into Imnane Valley and reach Tacheddirt village where you'll stay the night in a local Berber guesthouse or tent.

Tacheddirt to Imlil Valley to Aroumd
After breakfast, you'll trek from Tacheddirt toward Tizi n'Tamatert Pass, climbing steadily with sweeping views over both Imnane and Imlil valleys opening up around you. The descent takes you into Imlil Valley, the main area where Mount Toubkal treks usually start. From there, you'll continue on to Aroumd village and spend the night in a traditional Berber guesthouse.

- Day 3
Aroumd to Sidi Chamharouch to Toubkal Refuge
You'll start early after breakfast and trek from Aroumd toward Sidi Chamharouch Shrine, a white-washed pilgrimage site that holds cultural and spiritual significance for the local community. The walk takes about 3 hours before you'll stop for lunch along the trail. Then you'll continue the steady climb toward Toubkal Refuge at 3,200m/10,500ft, moving through alpine landscapes as the elevation increases. You'll spend the night at the refuge or in nearby tents.

- Day 4
Toubkal Refuge to Mount Toubkal Summit to Imlil to Marrakech
After an early breakfast, you'll start the challenging climb of Mount Toubkal (4,167m/13,671ft), the highest peak in North Africa. The ascent is non-technical but demanding, and from the summit you'll take in panoramic views across the High Atlas range, see Anti-Atlas peaks like Mount Siroua, and spot the Haouz plain stretching toward Marrakech in the distance. You'll head back down to the refuge for lunch, then continue the trek down to Imlil where your vehicle is waiting to drive you back to Marrakech.
