We have a tour that is 1 day longer but there is an option to book your own flight from Hurghada to Amman instead of taking the overnight train. Let me know which option you would prefer and I can advise the entrance fees.

Is there 24hr airport transfer? Is Edfu visited? Is there an Amman city tour included? What flights from Cairo to Amman do you recommend? As a solo traveller, is there a single supplement or is it room share between solo travellers?

We include 24 hour transfers if you have booked pre/post tour accommodation with us. The port of Edfu is an included stop in most Nile cruise itineraries, however we do not offer a guided tour to the temple. On Day 11 we tour the citadel and Archaeological Museum of Amman before we take a walk through the bustling local souk. For flights between Cairo and Amman we find Royal Jordanian or Egypt Air are reliable providers. There is a single person price for this tour, in total the single room tour price is €3,145.

On the Go' tours are what the name suggests; seeing as much as possible in each day. They are not tours for people who prefer lots of shopping ad leisure days. We were happy we chose to tour with this company. Our guides; Momo in Egypt and Hameed in Jordan were very knowledgeable and passionate to share with us the history and cultures of their countries. We appreciated their offered assistance in any situation and their determination that the schedule and itinerary was met. Accommodation throughout both tours was very good, good locations, rooms and staff. We ticked off the most amazing highlights of both countries. We do suggest that 'fitness levels' need to be emphasized in literature for the Jordan tour. At all times we felt safe and relaxed travelling through these amazing countries and recommend experiencing our memorable trip of 'Pyramids to Petra'.Show more

I wanted to let you know that I had a truly memorable experience on my recent Pyramids to Petra tour. My On the Go tour had very high standards for accommodation, itinerary organisation and very well- prepared & personable tour guides. I'm from New York City and have very well-travelled friends although none of them had heard of On the Go Tours. I feel very fortunate that I found out about On the Go tours from the internet. Although I've been a stolidly solo traveler throughout my adult life, I was worried about visiting Egypt as a single middle-aged American woman when I found out about On the Go tours, my worries were allayed. Not only did I feel completely safe on my tour, I was able to experience so much more sightseeing and unique activities than I would have as a solo traveler. My guides- Aamer Ibrahim in Egypt and Mohammed Hammadeen in Jordan- were such a delight. Aamer knew his Egyptian history cold and was so warm & personable- he really made me fall in love with Egypt! Mohammed in Jordan was very knowledgeable and well-prepared too. Because the Jordan tour included several hikes and a night camping in Wadi Rum, I really appreciated Mohammed's care and concern for safety as I had recovered from a hip replacement operation last year. Payment information
- For any tour departing before April 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with On The Go Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
