  • A cobbled medieval lane curves under a stone archway in Tallinn’s Old Town.
  • Colourful warehouses and boats line a calm waterfront in Klaipeda at dusk.
  • A lone hiker crosses a raised boardwalk through a colourful bog and pines.
  • A large tour group poses cheerfully outside the ornate Rundale Palace gates.

  • Thoroughly enjoyable tour. I would recommend this tour as we did a lot more than just visit the 3 main capital cities.

For solo travelers (and we tend to get quite a few on this tour), you have a couple of options: you can book a single room for yourself with a supplement, subject to availability, or if you'd prefer not to pay the supplement, we can look to room you with another traveler of the same gender.

    Asked on March 25th, 2024

How much are the optional tours, if any? I do not see any listed but want to know what other costs to account for. Are any meals included other than breakfast? Have any of the issues given in previous reviews (2019,2022) been fixed - such as better hotels or tour/local guides? I assume you offer roomshare with another single female if available? Otherwise, what is cost of single room? What, if anything else, is important to know about this trip that might not be in the itinerary or information on tour radar?

    • Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written March 2024

For this tour - activities mentioned are included in the itinerary as we do not have any further optional activities on this tour. However there may be entrance fees for historical sites, museums etc. Just breakfasts are included on this tour. The Tour Leader may still arrange group dinner (payable) at certain restaurants if there are passengers who would like help. Lunch costs vary depending on the venue. If you buy lunch at a local shop, €10-12 will be enough, but if we stop at a cafe you are likely to spend closer to €15. Dinner will usually be about €23-€35. A beer will cost around €5-€8 and a bottle of wine €20-€35. Budget around €30-40 per day for meals. Entrance fees to sites will be between €6 and €17. Yes, if you are traveling solo - you have two options. You can be matched with someone of the same gender or if you would like your own room (availability dependent) for a supplement. The single supplement for 2024 and 2025 can range from $555 to $600. This is subject to change until booked.

My dog is trained to lessen the effects of seizures. He travels regularly on British Airways. We have visited other countries but have not used a tour company. MacDuff and I do not require any special services.

    • Exodus Adventure TravelsOperator•Written January 2023

After chatting with our local suppliers, I would like to let you know that we can accommodate you. A few things to keep in mind: I have been told that in the Baltics regarding the restaurants, the approach is not the same as you may have found in the UK or other EU countries and you may have to sit outside with McDuff for meals if that is something you are prepared to do?

I have added the price for your initial inquiry - the latest departure we have for 2023 is the 20th September to 01 October 2023. Would you prefer the later departure? it looks as though it would be the same price.
