Overall, the tour was good to very good, depending on the particular day. There are 2 things that I think were very basic errors. First, everyone in the group should have received a list of the others in the group prior to the tour. Such a simple thing to to with computers and email, but it wasn't done. BTW, I've never been on a small tour such as this that did not do this. Second, with all the long bus rides, it would have been so simple for the bus to have a supply of bottled water to hand out, but never done ( unlike all trips I've taken before). Tour guides were excellent and worked hard. Accommodations were better than expected. Some stops along the bus rides were not up to par and seemed to be just a way to kill time to get to the hotel later.

Capitals Journey of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia & Finland - 10 DaysOutstanding tour, with excellent guide, fascinating recent history of these countries which have endured so much. I was blown away by the depth of spontaneous support for Ukraine 🇺🇦. Particularly special was the usual Intrepid mix of nationalities, interacting with the locals, and the use of public transport. The inclusion of cycling on the spit opposite Kaliningrad, and kayaking in a Lithuanian national park, was spot on… with choices for a disparate group. Thoroughly enjoyable, and I learned a great deal as well!
