What is the primary language that will be used on the bus and walks around town? I was on 2 horrible Europomundo tours conducted in Spanish and I know enough Spanish to grasp that the English tour 'gude' was doing a very poor job for the English speakers. I don't want to spend hours listening to German or Spanish with only 20 second explanations in English.

`The itinerary, the transport, and the hotels were OK, but the guide was so so for what concerns the organisation. It was very difficult to know what would happen in the next hours. As she asked us our phone number, I expected that each evening, she will give us the detailed program and schedule for the day after, but that did not happen. It was often difficult o have answers to some very practical questions concerning the program ( "I don't know", "it depends", "maybe, maybe not "were her favourite expressions). I was surprised that she was not aware of the options chosen by the participants. I would have understood that if she was a newbie. But she told us that she had been in the industry for 20 years. In addition her accent was very difficult to understand. As you know, we had a suitcase damaged by a driver. She did not do much to help us to deal with this incident, though that happened in her home country (Latvia). We had to find ourselves a possible repair shop, which could not do anything eventually. Then we had to escalate ourselves to get a compensation.Show more

Overall, the tour was good to very good, depending on the particular day. There are 2 things that I think were very basic errors. First, everyone in the group should have received a list of the others in the group prior to the tour. Such a simple thing to to with computers and email, but it wasn't done. BTW, I've never been on a small tour such as this that did not do this. Second, with all the long bus rides, it would have been so simple for the bus to have a supply of bottled water to hand out, but never done ( unlike all trips I've taken before). Tour guides were excellent and worked hard. Accommodations were better than expected. Some stops along the bus rides were not up to par and seemed to be just a way to kill time to get to the hotel later.Show more
