  • Day 1

    Tallinn, Estonia

    Land at Tallinn Airport and make your way to your hotel in the medieval Old Town. Wear shoes with good grip since cobblestone streets get slippery in wet weather. Visit Toompea Hill in the afternoon when crowds are smaller.   • Day 2

    Helsinki Day Trip

    Take the 2-hour ferry to Helsinki. The ferry terminal is about 15 minutes from Old Town by Bolt taxi or tram #2 from Hobujaama stop. Plan 4-5 hours to see Helsinki's Senate Square and Market Hall before returning. The walk from Helsinki's ferry terminal to downtown takes roughly 20 minutes.

    
  • Day 3

    Tallinn to Riga

    The bus ride takes 4 hours through Baltic countryside. Pick a right-side window seat for better views. You'll reach Riga by early afternoon with time to explore the Art Nouveau district near Alberta Street. Local buses can be tricky to navigate so consider using the Bolt app for taxis.

    
  • Day 4

    Riga, Latvia

    Take a morning walking tour of Riga's UNESCO-listed Old Town. Start at the Orthodox Cathedral and War Museum at 10 AM before crowds build up. Visit the Central Market in the afternoon. Remember to bring cash since many vendors don't take cards.

    
  • Day 5

    Riga to Vilnius

    Take another 4-hour bus ride south to Lithuania's capital. From the bus station take bus #88 or Uber to Old Town. Spend your afternoon around Cathedral Square and hiking up to Three Crosses viewpoint. The climb takes about 20 minutes and requires good walking shoes.

    
  • Day 6

    Vilnius & Trakai

    Begin in Vilnius' UNESCO Old Town and check out the unique "Republic" of Užupis. Take an afternoon train to see Trakai's island castle (30 minutes away). Check train schedules carefully as the last return to Vilnius is around 9:30 PM, with times changing by season.

    Departure

    Most flights leave from Vilnius International Airport, 15 minutes from downtown. Your transfer will typically be scheduled 3 hours before flight time. Most hotels will store your luggage if you have time for last-minute sightseeing.
