Reviews of Small Group tours to Baltic
- Small Group 11 Days Baltic Highlights Loop (Guaranteed Departure)
Well prepared, transportation always on time, multilingual tour guide provided lots of interesting facts on countries and their history.
- Discover the Baltics
After 45 years of independent, mainly solo travelling, I decided to take my first tour and selected the Discover the Baltics with Exodus. What a good decision that turned out to be! The Tour was led by the wonderful Minda who looked after the group and provided a wealth of information on the Baltics. The local guides we had throughout the tour were also fabulous and gave insight into each distince region. I would highly recommend this tour and can definitiely see myself taking another tour.
- Premium Baltics (13 destinations)
A well balanced, very enjoyable tour
What our customers ask about Baltic Small Group Tours
How does accommodation differ on small group tours versus large group tours in the Baltics?
Small group tours in the Baltics offer access to distinctive local properties that larger tours simply can't use. These include family-run hotels like the 80-room Comfort Hotel in Vilnius and the 32-room Old Mill Hotel in Klaipeda. The accommodations tend to be centrally located in historic districts allowing easier access to main attractions. Small groups often stay at places like Hotel Wesenbergh near Lahemaa National Park where guests can experience authentic Baltic hospitality. A TourRadar traveler notes: "The intimate hotels really enhanced our experience - we stayed at charming properties like the Islande Hotel in Riga with amazing views of the Old Town something impossible with larger groups."
What type of local experiences are available on Baltic small group tours?
With groups of 6-16 people travelers can join cooking classes in Lahemaa National Park see local artisans at work in amber workshops in Vilnius and participate in beer tastings at Klaipeda's historic Svyturys brewery. The smaller size allows groups to explore local markets like Riga's Central Market and enjoy home-cooked meals with families in places like Rusne village. One TourRadar traveler notes: "Our small group size meant we could have dinner with a local family in their home near Rusne Island and get a truly authentic experience of Lithuanian hospitality."
