Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu
A representative meets you at the airport and takes you by private vehicle to your hotel in Kathmandu. Once you've settled in, your guide walks through the Annapurna circuit trek details and what to expect safety-wise. After freshening up, you'll have time to wander around Thamel, the busy neighborhood filled with shops, pubs, and bars.

Landmarks Thamel - Day 2
Kathmandu to Syange
Following breakfast, you're picked up for the drive to Syange, roughly 8 to 9 hours through typical Nepali terrain. The route passes green hills, rivers, and terraced farmland with mountain views the whole way. You'll reach Syange by evening for your first night in the mountains.

- Day 3
Syange to Dharapani
Your first day on foot takes you from Syange to Dharapani over about 7 to 8 hours. A bridge crossing leads into the Manang district where you'll pass through rice and potato fields, see a waterfall, and walk by Kodo village. The trail provides continuous views of the surrounding landscape as you head toward Dharapani.

Dharapani to Chame
Today's trek goes through steep ridges covered by green forest, though some sections have landslides so you'll need to watch your footing. Along the way you'll see Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV (7525m). There's a chance to stop at natural hot springs before continuing on to Chame for the night.

Chame to Pisang
The trek starts through a narrow, steep valley that requires careful attention throughout. You'll pass a curved rock formation at Paungda Danda that rises to roughly 1500m, and spot snowy peaks including Annapurna II and Pisang Peak. The day ends in Pisang where you'll stay overnight.

- Day 6
Pisang to Manang
This approximately 7-hour trek moves through Upper Pisang toward Manang, which offers great views of Mt. Annapurna and Pisang Peak. Before settling in for the night, you'll do a short visit to Barge Monastery, the largest in the Manang district.

- Day 7
Acclimatization Day at Manang
You have a rest day in Manang to let your body adjust to higher altitude. Gentle exploration and short hikes are available, including options like heading to Bonjo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake. Alternatively, you could visit Vraga village and the Himalayan Rescue Association to learn about altitude sickness and prevention.

- Day 8
Manang to Yak Kharka
Continuing upward, you'll pass through Tenki village and the Marshyangdi Valley northwest of Jharsang Khola. The trek crosses small streams and goes through juniper trees, Ghunsa Village, and open meadows where horses and yaks roam. After crossing a river and passing a mani, you'll reach Yak Kharka for the night.

Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi
After breakfast, you keep climbing toward Thorang Phedi. A suspension bridge crossing takes you to Lather Village, then the trail passes through cliffs as you approach Thorang Phedi. From here you'll see Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan before settling in.

- Day 10
Thorang Phedi to Muktinath (via Thorang La Pass)
This is the main challenge: crossing Thorang La Pass at 5,416m, the trek's highest point. The western side presents the toughest part, but reaching the top brings a real sense of accomplishment. After time at the pass for photos and taking in the views, you'll descend to Muktinath for overnight.

Muktinath to Jomsom
Your last day of trekking heads downhill from Muktinath to Jomsom in roughly 5 hours. The route follows the Gandaki River with views of Tilicho Mountain and green hills. Jomsom, known for its strong winds, becomes your final night in the mountain region.

Jomsom to Pokhara
Following breakfast, you head to the airport to catch a flight to Pokhara (depending on weather). If flying isn't an option, you can take a local bus or private van instead. This transitional day moves you from the mountains to the lakeside city.

- Day 13
Pokhara to Kathmandu
After breakfast, you take a tourist bus back to Kathmandu. There's an option to fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu instead, though that costs extra. You'll return to Kathmandu for one final night, which includes a Nepalese cuisine dinner to celebrate your trek.

Departure from Kathmandu
Your last morning starts with breakfast before you're transferred to the international airport for your flight home. Your Annapurna circuit trek comes to an end.
