My guide Eddie was very incredible as he first briefed me on the itinerary, weather and the culture of the people we were going too before we started on the tour. He gave first hand information answers when ever i asked a question and the meals were very nice. During tracking the game rangers were very informative and helpful when ever we could find difficulties in the dense forest.Show more

  Regarding the rainy season and road safety, April falls within Uganda's long rainy season (typically March to May), so you can expect regular showers, sometimes heavy, which make the landscapes beautifully lush and green. While some roads—particularly unpaved ones in national parks and remote areas—can become muddy and slippery, all our safaris use well-maintained, high-clearance 4x4 safari vehicles specially equipped for these conditions. Our professional drivers are highly skilled at navigating wet-season roads safely, and we monitor conditions closely to ensure smooth and secure travel. Many travelers actually enjoy the rainy season for its fewer crowds, vibrant scenery, and excellent value.

  The rainy season does not make it unlikely to see monkeys—in fact, sightings remain very good, and in many cases, excellent! Primates like chimpanzees (in Kibale National Park) and various monkey species (including colobus, vervet, and others depending on your itinerary) are habituated and reliably located year-round by our expert guides and trackers. The chimps and monkeys tend to stay closer to food sources during wetter periods, and the lush vegetation can even make the forest feel more alive. While trails may be muddier (comfortable waterproof gear and good hiking shoes are recommended), the chances of rewarding encounters are high, often with the bonus of a more private experience due to lower tourist numbers.

- For any tour departing before July 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Oasis Safaris Limited. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
