Ho Chi Minh City
You'll land at Tan Son Nhat International airport and get transferred to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. It's a straightforward arrival day, so you'll settle in for the night and adjust to the time zone.

Mekong Delta - My Tho and Ben Tre
This morning you'll cruise the Mekong River out to an island near My Tho. You'll have traditional music playing while sipping tea with bee's honey and tasting fresh fruit. After that, a paddle-boat takes you through narrow canals where you can see how locals make coconut candy. Lunch features 'Elephant-Ear Fish', then you'll visit Vinh Trang Pagoda before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City by evening.

Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Da Nang - Hoi An
The morning is free to do what you want. Later, a half-day tour takes you to Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the network from the Vietnam War. That afternoon you'll fly to Da Nang and transfer to Hoi An. If you're interested, there's an optional chance to shoot an M16 or AK47 at a firing range for an additional fee.

Hoi An

By afternoon, the time is yours to wander around and find your own spots.

Hoi An - My Son Sanctuary
You're cycling through Hoi An's countryside today, starting with a stop at a local restaurant for 'Cao Lau', the specialty dish. Then you'll bike to Tra Que Village where a local family teaches you how to make 'white rose' dumpling cakes. After that, you'll head to Cam Nam for Yin and Yang food. In the afternoon, the trip continues to My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO site with temples from the ancient Champa Kingdom.

Da Nang - Ha Noi
You'll head to Da Nang airport and fly to Ha Noi. Once you arrive at Noi Bai airport, you'll transfer to your hotel. After having lunch, you'll visit heritage sites including Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, But Tower, and The Huc Bridge. Later, a cyclo ride through the historic Old Quarter gives you a feel for local life.

You'll leave Ha Noi by boat and head into Ha Long Bay with its roughly 3,000 limestone islands rising from the water. The boat anchors so you can swim in a quiet cove and explore hidden grottoes under tall cliffs. You'll spend the night on the cruise.
