  We had an amazing trip with Tour Radar, I was impressed by how well everything was organised and there was constant communication via WhatsApp on the program or flights the next day. I also gave some feedback which was dealt with straight away. The tour guides were really good in Hoi Ann and in Hanoi, the tour guides in Ho Chi Min was a little average. We enjoyed every activity, apart from the Mekong Delta, which felt a bit like a tourist trap. I misunderstood the package, thinking we were going to have a mixture of 3,4 and 5 star hotels, but you need to make clear from the beginning what you choose. But again, very good experience and introduction to see a lot of Vietnam in 10 days. Thanks again Tour Radar!Show more

  Can‘t beat the tour for that price! Organisation was perfect, hotel choices okay (but you have to keep in mind they have to pick hotels that can accommodate a whole group). Enough free time to explore on your own, but structured enough to not just wander around. Our tour group stuck together mostly, which was very nice at well. Would recommend!Show more

  The trip was flawless in organisation. Each day we would get notification of what is expected the next day and without fault someone or car/bus was waiting. The tours were great and we also loved the free time and suggested activities by the knowledgable tour guides. The only fault I have is our final accomodation in Hanoi was very poor. Ho Chi Minh, Hoi An and Ha Long accomodation was excellent and did not feel 3 star. In particular Hoi An, the hotel went out of the way to make our stay welcoming. The Hanoi accomodation was damp smelling with mould in both rooms we stayed and the provided breakfast was awful with flies in an 11th floor restaurant. Although this was poor, it did not ruin the overall trip. I would definitely do another trip with this company.Show more

  Our trip from South Vietnam to North Vietnam was an incredible experience. What we enjoyed most was how organised everything was. The tour guides were great and very informative. Having all the transfers and flights arranged for us took away a lot of the usual travel stress, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the journey without worrying about logistics. We loved that it was semi-guided. This gave us the perfect balance between structure and flexibility. We had the benefit of organised tours and expert guidance, but still plenty of free time to explore on our own. There were a couple of downsides. The main issue was with the accommodation. Although we selected the 3-star option and were shown certain advertised hotels, we didn’t end up staying in any of those. It’s also worth noting that 3-star hotels in Vietnam may not meet the expectations some travellers might have. In our experience, they felt more like a 1-star standard. If we were to do the trip again the one thing we would change is upgrading the accommodation to 4 or 5 star options. If you only have a small amount of time and want to see a lot in Vietnam this trip I would highly recommend.Show more

  My family of 3 enjoyed our trip to Vietnam. Hoi An Express provided clear communication daily via WhatsApp so we know in advance what to expect for the following day. We have a different tour guide in each city. Some are good with English and some struggle a bit. But all the guides were very friendly and welcoming. We visited a lot of historic places, museums, temples and UNESCO sites. I am impressed with the resilience of the Vietnamese people despite their painful past. The food in Vietnam was so good and very healthy. I can eat Vietnamese food everyday. Be careful walking the streets of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh as there are hardly any sidewalks and you have to share the road with motorbikes and cars. Hoi An old town was an absolute delight with all the lanterns on the streets, shopping and restaurants. The cruise in Halong Bay was also very nice. Even though our cruise boat was dated, the cruise director and friendly staff, yummy food and activities made the trip enjoyable. We did pay the extra surcharge to upgrade to 4* accommodation and all our hotels were wonderful.Show more

  It was a wonderful, in the true meaning of the word, holiday experience. We came back to "mundane" Brisbane energised and revitalised. The tour organiser was superb, the hotel/ airport pick-ups were spot on and the drivers were all helpful and friendly, and we felt in safe hands. The various hotels were in good locations and far better than any anonymous 5 star hotel because they were authentic "Asian".
