  The tour would have been exceptional if the guide had not overcharged me as I choose to pay my entrance fees to him directly upfront instead of standing in line. I paid him $250 US but when I added up the tickets he gave me they added up to $90. I did some add on tours but with another company I found while onboard. Abu Simbel which he wanted $270 I paid $100 hot air Balloon he wanted $135 I paid $90. I did tip the drivers very well but not Ahmen. First time I’ve had anything negative with Tour Radar. Overall it was just one person that gave me a negative feeling which does stay with me. I always say 98 % of the world is made up with good people.Show more

We appreciate your generosity in tipping the drivers separately, but transparency about these inclusions is important for all travelers. Your total trip cost was $970 USD, including a luxury Nile cruise (originally booked as standard, upgraded at no extra cost to you—valued at $892 for 7 nights, or $127/night excluding tours). Despite recent Nile price increases, we honored our commitment, covered guide transfers, and never considered canceling. We wish you’d mentioned the upgrade, as it enhanced your experience with superior amenities. We stand by our promise of exceptional value and honesty. Honesty in reviews helps future guests make informed choices about Egypt’s wonders. Our optional tour to abu simbel private tour is priced at $135 per person, which includes a dedicated private guide, a comfortable private limo, and a seamless experience tailored just for you. We noticed you chose an alternative with other providers, which appears to be significantly cheaper but involves a 10-hour journey in a shared 12-seat van with a group of 12 people and local transportation. This is the key difference—our option prioritizes your comfort, privacy, and personalized service.

  I would have given an excellent except the pretrip communication was terrible. It was next to impossible to get any feedback on whether our group would in fact be together, when and where we would be for additional tours etc. The guides were excellent especially Moyra in Cairo. And even when our guide on the cruise got sick he assured there were very good guides for the rest of the trip. The boat itself was very good and the food was excellent.Show more

  The Nile cruise itinerary was very good. The only complaint is we arrived back in Luxor a day later than promised, causing one of group to miss out on the balloon ride. They did, however, refund her money. They were able to add two days to our itinerary so that we could see the pyramids, old Egyptian museum and the ne Grand Egyptian museum. All the guides we had we excellent, knowledgeable, and fun to tour the sights with. My biggest complaint, and the reason I gave the 4 stars, was communication with TourRadar and Truly Egypt was extremely difficult. I was traveling with a group of 10 people, and none of could get our questions answered. Thankfully, they came through and we were able to enjoy the trip together.Show more

  I expected to join a group - but the group was just me! However the boat was very good, the catering was impeccable...
  I expected to join a group - but the group was just me! However the boat was very good, the catering was impeccable and the room was comfortable. The downside was that they were always berthed in places difficult to access - including down crumbling steps and over three boats being upgraded. There was a lift but only to three floors - not the restaurant or the sundeck. The crew were great.Show more
