Can we spend the day walking around Viviers instead of going to the Camargue?

Does the boat stop at Viviers itself?

Do I have to arrange transfers from airport to boat and return myself? I am 82 and would prefer to be met.

Transfers on the first day and last day of the cruise are not included. We have reached out to the operator to check if this is something they can assist you with at an additional cost. The transfers from Lyon Airport to embarkation point and return are Euro 205/- per person.

When will 2024 dates be available?

The operator has advised that they currently do not have dates in 2024. They do have other cruises in Lyon that have availability in 2024.

The operator has reached out and advised that this is currently not available in May 2024. We would like to offer you this alternative: A trip to admire the beautiful scenery of the Rhône valley (port-to-port cruise) (7 destinations)

1. what is the difference between the rooms? 2. Is there air conditioning in al rooms 3. Are all drinks really free? 4. What is the typical cost of the day trips ashore? If I book throuigh you can you offer any discount or can I pay a booking deposit.

Each ship has around 2 to 3 decks. Each deck has different cabin categories. The higher the deck the better the vantage point and the view which automatically translates into a higher price. Each cabin will have Air Conditioning. The operator provides free beverages with every meal, as well as from the bar at any time it is open - this includes mineral water, fruit juice, soft drinks, tea, coffee, house wine and beer. Standard cocktails (ex. gin tonic) are also included. Drinks served at the bar are included in the full price of some cruises as well. (If your cruise does not include an open bar, you may purchase a €30 drink card to cover any of these beverages you may wish to buy while onboard. Any money remaining is reimbursed at the end of the cruise.) Champagne, premium brand vintage wines, and spirits as listed on our special wine list are available at an additional charge on the cruise.

My wife and I are allergic to garlic and onion. If we could have some meals without those two ingredients we would really appreciate it.

At the time of booking, we shall put in a specific food request and the operator will make the necessary arrangements. They cater to specific food requests all the time such that it's not an issue.

Can you please advise if there are any dates available in Late September to October?

Unfortunately, all of the October dates are sold out except for October 18th, 2023 and on this date we only have availability on the following cabins, all cabins are double occupancy. 4 travellers in the Main deck in 2 cabins in Category C. Total $7248 USD. 2 travellers in the Upper deck in 1 cabin in Category A. Total $2008. TOTAL AMOUNT for 6 travellers $9,256.00

are there no tours available in first week of June?

The dates for the first week of June are completely sold out. We do see space on the departure date 24-28th June 2023 for Cabin Category B on the Upper Deck. The ship that will be sailing on this date is known as the MS Van Gogh.

What is the difference between Cat A & Cat B Rooms on the upper deck?

The difference is simply the location of the cabin on each deck. Cabin categories differ based on their position on the ship. Available cabins include Main Deck and Upper Deck with different pricing for Twin Beds in Categories A, B, and C.

1/ 26 April is confirmed date ? 2/ Is this fully guided tour with a group ? 3/ possible to share room as I am solo traveler and don't want to pay extra for single room

Answering your questions - Yes indeed this is a confirmed departure for the 26th April 2023. This is a cruise that will have passengers from across the world booking. This operator does not offer shared rooms for solo travellers.

The start was a bit inauspicious. We couldn't find the boat!! Turned out it was moored alongside a companion boat with no sign indicating its presence. But from there in was onwards and upwards!! Only 7 English speakers from the 90 passengers, but we were extremely well looked after. The food was excellent - no superb!!, the staff also excellent and the two trips we did to the Ardeche and especially the night tour of Arles were most enjoyable. Really nice boat. Great food. Great destinations. Great rooms. However the cruise was entirely in French. we were not informed of this. Therefore we could not go on any of the excursions, understand (fully) the announcements or participate in any of the activities. Furthermore, there was no live music or entertainment. Lastly you advertised a jeep 4x4 excursion. This was not available on the cruise. We were very happy with staff on the boat, in fact we gave a large tip and chocolates. So in summary a mixed experience.Show more

Firstly I would like to congratulate the Tour Radar team for their excellent organisation of our holiday. You were extremely professional. Our holiday was a good one. The accommodation was great, the food was great, the crew were helpful, and the on shore excursions, particularly the 4x4 safari in the Carmarthen were really interesting. I would not, however, recommend this trip to anybody who does not have some command of the French language, because even though the tour company tried their best to accommodate to 9 non-French speaking guests on the boat, it didn’t work. I some cases we felt very isolated from the rest of the people on the boat. Thank you once again to Tour Radar. We hope we can organise another holiday through your company in the future.Show more

The staff and the boat were excellent (though bed was hard), and we had various activities to join if we wanted. There was always ample food, nice beverages etc included. Tour Radar made sure everything went well. Only things to improve - make the embarkation point very clear and specific (despite my written instructions, my taxi driver guessed where exactly to go, and I still had to run for the boat and jump on via another); the site excursions were info-dense, and needed interesting personal stories.Show more
