I am 66 and want to make sure I can go in this trip. I am a skydive, drysuit diver and very very active

The advertised age range is the average age range of passengers. Senior passengers are welcome to join the tour provided they're comfortable with the pace of the itinerary, which can be relatively fast.

I would like to know the cost for entrance fees, visa, optionals, etc. This would help with planning and budgeting.

I'll be arriving a day early for my trip. Please advise on what hotel to book that we would be staying at the first night. Also, how can I get a transfer to the airport?

The designated itinerary hotel is the Novotel Sofia for the first night of the tour. The complimentary airport transfer is available only on Day 1 between 5 AM and midnight. You may book additional accommodations and transfers before the tour separately as you prefer.

How many people are currently scheduled on this tour? Are there other solo travelers? What time would we get back to Sofia?

There are currently 22 passengers booked on this tour departing March 28th. It's a mixed group with solo travellers, couples and friends travelling together. Our tours operate on a shared room basis, you would be roomed with another solo traveller of the same gender. The group will return to Sofia around 6 - 6:30 on the penultimate day. The tour will end on the final day around 1 PM in the city centre, you may book your return flights accordingly. We recommend accounting for slight delays when booking your flights.

How much would the single supplement be for the 20 Jun, 2026 To 29 Jun, 2026 trip?

The single supplement is not available for this tour, unfortunately.

I would arrive at 6:20 pm Saturday evening. Would I still get a transfer to the hotel and dinner. I would leave Monday at 12:55pm would I still be sale to do the walking tour?

Transfers operate on Day 1 between 5 AM and midnight. The welcome meeting will be held at 7 PM, which is followed by the optional group dinner. The tour ends around 1 PM after the city tour concludes on the final day.

Can travelers aged 69-71 join the tour if they are healthy and frequent travelers?

Yes, travelers aged 69–71 are welcome to join the tour as long as they are traveling with a companion. As they've mentioned they are healthy and frequent travelers, there should be no issue.

I have looked at the hotels used in the itinerary and all were considered acceptable for a 4 Star rating with the exception of of the two hotels that you show for the overnight in Ohrid: Nova Riviera and the Aqualina Hotel. The reviews and pictures I have seen online show that these hotels would not be acceptable with a 1 star rating. I am hoping that your online brochure has not been updated and that you are offering other hotels.

Please let me know which hotel you are using in Ohrid.

My clients are over 50 years old are they suitable to join this tour?

I trvelled solo. Excellent experience! Travel Talk Tour is an amazing company! I will surely use them for my future trips. Tour guide Alaksander was the best. He was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I liked him keeping us up to date in the WhatsApp group. Our driver Mitco was very efficient and wonderful driver. Itinerary was just perfect. We had enough time to explore on our own and to follow local guides for city tours. Comfortable coach bus. Hotels were all great, except for one (Hotel Aqualina in Ohrid). Hotel Aqualina needs some improvements. I took all the optional tours, we had 4. I loved 3 of them (the boat cruise, the monestry, and the waterfalls), but I may not recommend the Balcan nights to everyone. Wasn't worth it for me. Overall it was a great vacation.Show more

Hotels declined in quality. while I know 4 star hotels vary from country to country, there was a huge variation in quality in what was advertised as being all 4 star. The Novotel in Sofia was great but the Aqualina hotel was disgusting. It had sold, was dirty and disgusting which means I cannot trust Tour Radar's description for this moving forward. It would have been helpful to know head of time how much driving was involved per day as some days was 5-6 hours.Show more

Ohh where do I begin. It has been exactly a month since this trip started and ended 10 days later. While my memory is still fresh, better to put in and leave a review before these lemons become a distant memory. Firstly, Not sure why they were 2 Guides and 1 bus driver. I have been on 2 seperate trips to Europe/UK trips so far with other tour operators and usually only 1 each. So, we had 2 guides - Simon and Vlada (both Serbians) . This affects my tip and had to split to 2 people when ideally I would want to give to Simon only because he needs it and also, did an exemplary job throughout. Sloucher - our driver was extremely seasoned to drive in these erratic roads of Balkans and made me get the feeling I was in safe pair of hands. I made 2 new friends since I was travelling solo. I think I would be in touch with them for long time. But, also, made friends with rest of the group. Hotels although 4 stars - I really would not give any weight to that since all seem very budgeted and small rooms. None were spacious or worthy to remember that I want to go back and stay there only. Maybe it is my preference and I like luxury but these hotels were 2-3 stars at best compared to USA standards. I flew in from California and thankfully and truly appreciated that I got picked up at Aieport. Nice touch compared to other operators out there. All hotels except the one in Shkodër (Albania) were far from tourist sports for eating, restaurants, shopping. Only Hotel Mozart was close to city center where ample eateries and more are located. Overall, so called 7 countries in 10 days trip is completed but, felt we spent very less time at Kotor (Montenegro) for lunch and brief walking tour. Liked Bosnia for natural beauty, of course Dubrovnik (Croatia) for my fanaticism of Game of Thrones and finally, Ohrid pearls in North Macedonia.Show more

We were blessed in this tour with an amazing combination of the 3 of them. The group was awesome from all over the world, our guide Milosh a very well informed and funny and friendly guide, our driver Alexander probably the best ever in his field. Accommodations were great and very well chosen and so were all the places we visited. I would arrive at 6:20 pm Saturday evening. Would I still get a transfer to the hotel and dinner. I would leave Monday at 12:55pm would I still be sale to do the walking tour?

I have looked at the hotels used in the itinerary and all were considered acceptable for a 4 Star rating with the exception of of the two hotels that you show for the overnight in Ohrid: Nova Riviera and the Aqualina Hotel. The reviews and pictures I have seen online show that these hotels would not be acceptable with a 1 star rating. I am hoping that your online brochure has not been updated and that you are offering other hotels.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of $150 is required to confirm your booking with Travel Talk. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
