  A lot is packed into 10 days. The guide Boyan was knowledgeable, funny and gave great recommendations . Our bus was clean with an excellent and safe driver. Breakfast daily was perfect & each town had a local tour to inform you. Hotels were nice but most were out of the city center. That was not a huge issue especially for the excellent price. It is very fast paced but you know this going in. It's a taste of tge balkans. We were in 6 countries in 10 days. It is an ama,ing part of the world that I recommend exploring before it truly gets discovered for the gem it is. It's inexpensive. I recommend Travel Talk Tours and would use them again without hesitationShow more

  I booked a solo Balkan travel package through TourRadar, expecting a private room as part of a solo package. However, the tour was outsourced to Travel Talk London, and without any prior notice, my solo package was changed into a shared-room arrangement. I only found out on day one, when I arrived at the hotel in Sofia and was told I would have to share a room with a stranger. This was completely unacceptable, especially because room sharing with an unknown person can be unsafe and unhealthy. I had paid for a solo package, not a shared one. When I raised my concern, a Travel Talk agent named Mary responded rudely and said, “Do you want to cancel? We can cancel it.” That response was shocking and unprofessional, especially after I had booked the trip in December 2025, months in advance, and had already arrived at the hotel. Travel Talk later produced a declaration claiming I had been informed on 27 December 2025, but I checked my inbox carefully and never received any such email. This made the situation feel dishonest and manipulative. This experience ruined my holiday and destroyed my trust in both TourRadar and Travel Talk. Customers should receive exactly what they pay for, and no one should be misled into a shared arrangement after booking a solo package.Show more

We understand how disappointing the rooming situation must have felt, particularly when the arrangement on arrival was different from what you were expecting. After reviewing the booking details, however, we can confirm that the reservation made through TourRadar was for a shared room, and no single-room supplement or private-room upgrade was selected or paid for at the time of booking. We can also confirm that no change was made to the room type by our team after the booking was made. As this was a third-party booking, all payments and room selections were processed through TourRadar, and the booking remained in shared-room status throughout. We understand this was not the experience you believed you had booked. However, the rooming arrangement provided was in line with the reservation received. As the matter was raised after the tour had already commenced, changing the room setup at that stage would have required last-minute availability across the hotels on route, together with an additional single supplement. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. While we recognise your disappointment, we hope this provides some clarity around how the booking was held and confirmed.   Our Guide Simon Simonovic looked after all of our needs excellently as well as giving us an in depth insight into the politcal relationship of each of the Balkan states with each other. Having to negoticiate 14 border crossings wasnt much fun for us let alone for Simon, however he handled it with great aplomb. The people of the Balkans were all very friendly and the scenery to die for in some locations like Dubrovnic, Kotor and Lake Ohrid ( an unfortuanate name for a beautiful Place). All in all a very enjoyable trip. Our driver Slave was excellent as well in his cool manner.Show more

He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly diligent from beginning to end. He consistently provided clear and captivating explanations of the history, culture, and tales associated with each location. What I really valued most was how well he managed everyday duties and even challenging circumstances, particularly at immigration borders, where his expertise and composed leadership made everything stress-free for the team. The entire trip was filled with memorable moments, laughter, and meaningful experiences—the ideal mix of enjoyment and education.   I trvelled solo. Excellent experience! Travel Talk Tour is an amazing company! I will surely use them for my future trips. Tour guide Alaksander was the best. He was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I liked him keeping us up to date in the WhatsApp group. Our driver Mitco was very efficient and wonderful driver. Itinerary was just perfect. We had enough time to explore on our own and to follow local guides for city tours. Comfortable coach bus. Hotels were all great, except for one (Hotel Aqualina in Ohrid). Hotel Aqualina needs some improvements. I took all the optional tours, we had 4. I loved 3 of them (the boat cruise, the monestry, and the waterfalls), but I may not recommend the Balcan nights to everyone. Wasn't worth it for me. Overall it was a great vacation.Show more

  Tour guide and driver was excellent. Hotels declined in quality. while I know 4 star hotels vary from country to country, there was a huge variation in quality in what was advertised as being all 4 star. The Novotel in Sofia was great but the Aqualina hotel was disgusting. It had sold, was dirty and disgusting which means I cannot trust Tour Radar's description for this moving forward. It would have been helpful to know head of time how much driving was involved per day as some days was 5-6 hours.Show more
