There are currently 22 passengers booked on this tour. It's a mixed group with solo travellers, couples and friends travelling together. Our tours operate on a shared room basis, you would be roomed with another solo traveller of the same gender. The group will return to Sofia around 6 - 6:30 on the last day, you may book your return flights accordingly. We recommend accounting for slight delays when booking your flights.

I didn't notice the age recommendations before booking. I will be 65 by the time of the tour. Does that mean I am not able to take this tour?

You will be absolutely fine — the age recommendation is only a guideline. Being 65 at the time of the tour does not prevent you from joining, and you are more than welcome to take part in this departure. As long as you feel comfortable with the itinerary and activity level, there will be no issue at all.

You are absolutely both welcome. Since you're happy with the itinerary and will be traveling together and sharing a room for your comfort, age will not be an issue at all.

Can I travel with 60 and 70 yrs old friends?

Travellers in their 60s and 70s are very welcome to join the tour, as long as they are in reasonable health and comfortable with the activity level. We regularly have guests in this age range traveling with us and they enjoy the experience very much.

Unfortunately, we're unable to make an exception in this case. Our tours are strictly 18+, and this policy applies to all departures without exception, so a 15-year-old would not be permitted to join the tour.

It was a large group of many nationalities, 44 of us, which I thought was just too much to load on a single guide. Nonetheless, it was largely a fun group. The itinerary was hectic but we got to see and experience a lot. Border crossings were very slow in many places but can't be helped when travelling by road from country to country. Overall, a great trip. One horrible accommodation throughout the trip - the so called 5 stars hotel in Albania was a total fail. Fortunately, our room's air-conditioning was working and the bathroom was not flooded after a shower. We heard at breakfast that some of our fellow travellers had no functioning air-conditioner in their rooms and their bathroom flooded after a shower. What horror. Luckily it was only an overnight stay.Show more

You cover an impressive amount of cities in this trip, it is fast paced and you only get a few hours in each city, which is enough to see highlights but maybe not long enough to relax there. Each city visit includes a guided tour then free time. Accomodation was pretty good on the whole. Not whole of the Balkans allows smoking indoors so be prepared for that.Show more

One of the Best Tour Packages which I have been. Amazing Tour Guides Boyan was extraordinary, very knowledgeable, very funny but true experiences and history which he explained. He also details about stops what to expect in Hotels and Toilet facilities en route. Most of the Hotels was very good. Novotel Sofia was high class & Panorama Trebinje was astonishingly beautiful. Aqualina Ohrid stunning location but many things like cupboards etc is broken and unfinished (please kindly fix it). Belgrade Abba Hotel Bathroom water coming out as floors needs proper draining inclination but otherwise hotel was good. Sky Bar in Panormika Skopje was stunning. Breakfast was 5*. On Hotels had issues which I hope they will fix soon.Show more

WOW!!! What an amazing trip to the Balkans led by our superlative guide Dusan Tosic and highly skilled driver Mitko who drove that big beautiful bus with precision. Dusan was highly organized and made our diverse group of once strangers feel like family. This tour was a whirlwind of rich history, architecture, culture, cuisine, majestic mountain landscapes, seascapes, and rivers. The itinerary and optional excursions were ideal to savor the region. Our city walks with local guides added depth to the history of each place visited. The hotels were great with only minor inconveniences. Multiple border crossings were essentially seamless. Balkans 9 Day Tour, started 8th May, 2025 This tour is incredible value for money, so many incredible places visited. Bojan (our guide) was funny, friendly and helpful. I was very lucky with the group on the tour, many great like minded people. Personal highlights, Bosnia (all of it!) and Kotor in Montenegro. It's an area I had not visited before but will definitely be back. Can only thank Bojan, the group and Travel Talk for such a great experience. It's a fast paced tour, get your outfit for tomorrow ready and be almost packed to go the night before to take the stress out of early starts. Additional experiences were well worth it, Balkan Meal wasn't great as I don't eat meat but still fun watching the dancing and chatting to everyone. I'd happily do it all again. If you want to visit Kosovo you can on the last night from Skopje but need to organise it yourself. Happy to pass on details of this if interested.Show more

- For any tour departing before July 2nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 2nd, 2026, a minimum payment of $150 is required to confirm your booking with Travel Talk. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Travel Talk will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Travel Talk" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.

- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Travel Talk. Please familiarize yourself with the Travel Talk payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
