Could you provide an estimated time we would be arriving back to Sofia on day 9? I'm trying to figure out whether I should get a flight back from Sofia on day 9 or whether I should book one leaving the day after. From my understanding there is no hotel booking included in the tour for the day 9?

Can I land at any time on the first day of the tour and still get a transfer from the airport to the hotel?

My friend may travel with me but she may not. I would like to book a single room (not sharing with anyone by myself). I did not see that option. Please help.

This itinerary ends in Sofia around 6-6:30 PM. You may book your return flights accordingly. Alternatively, you may book an itinerary which is nearly identical and extends the tour by an additional night in Sofia, ending around 1 PM.

How do you travel between these countries? And is it included in the price?

You will be traveling between the cities in an air-conditioned coach, which is included as part of the tour package.

Is this trip suitable for families with kids as young as six? Also, are there any discounts for younger kids?

We are unable to accommodate children on our tours unfortunately, as our tours operate on a shared room basis with an age requirement of 18+.

I am willing to share a room but I am traveling solo. I live/work in the UAE, and there is a war, what happens if there is a closure of airspace and I am unable to take the trip?

If you are planning to book the 23 May 2026 departure, please note that once the booking is confirmed, changes and cancellations are subject to our standard terms. Is there a tour in Spanish?

At the moment, our tours are conducted only in English, and we do not offer Spanish-speaking departures.

We are planning to do this tour in June 1st or second. Could please add Medjugore to this tour?

Please note that a visit to Medjugorje (Our Lady of Medjugorje) is not included in the tour itinerary. Unfortunately, we are unable to add this location to the scheduled program. However, depending on your free time during the tour, you may have the opportunity to visit independently should logistics allow.

How many people are currently booked on this trip? Are there any solo travelers? If I need to room with someone is there another woman in their 20s - 30s I would be able to be paired with? Additionally, when do we arrive back in Sofia on April 5th? What is the earliest people should book flights out?

Our tours operate on a shared room basis, you would be roomed with another solo traveller of the same gender. It was a large group of many nationalities, 44 of us, which I thought was just too much to load on a single guide. Nonetheless, it was largely a fun group. The itinerary was hectic but we got to see and experience a lot. Border crossings were very slow in many places but can't be helped when travelling by road from country to country. Overall, a great trip. One horrible accommodation throughout the trip - the so called 5 stars hotel in Albania was a total fail. Fortunately, our room's air-conditioning was working and the bathroom was not flooded after a shower. We heard at breakfast that some of our fellow travellers had no functioning air-conditioner in their rooms and their bathroom flooded after a shower. What horror. Luckily it was only an overnight stay.Show more

You cover an impressive amount of cities in this trip, it is fast paced and you only get a few hours in each city, which is enough to see highlights but maybe not long enough to relax there. Each city visit includes a guided tour then free time. Accomodation was pretty good on the whole. Not whole of the Balkans allows smoking indoors so be prepared for that.Show more

One of the Best Tour Packages which I have been. Amazing Tour Guides Boyan was extraordinary, very knowledgeable, very funny but true experiences and history which he explained. He also details about stops what to expect in Hotels and Toilet facilities en route. Most of the Hotels was very good. Novotel Sofia was high class & Panorama Trebinje was astonishingly beautiful. Aqualina Ohrid stunning location but many things like cupboards etc is broken and unfinished (please kindly fix it). Belgrade Abba Hotel Bathroom water coming out as floors needs proper draining inclination but otherwise hotel was good. Sky Bar in Panormika Skopje was stunning. Breakfast was 5*. On Hotels had issues which I hope they will fix soon.Show more

- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of $150 is required to confirm your booking with Travel Talk. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Travel Talk will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
