  We had an incredible lifetime experience Trek to Everest Base Camp Mountain Ascend Treks. The trekking was well-organized, and our guide Lax was exceptional. His knowledge of the region, attention to detail, and genuine care for our well-being made the journey truly memorable. Lax expertise in managing the altitude and pacing the trek ensured that we acclimatized well and enjoyed every moment.   Look no further! This is the company that you want. I’m a very experienced traveller, and I am SO impressed! They cover trekking and biking in Nepal. I went on a trek to Base Camp, then on to a High Pass, and back, we also did a few days in Kathmandu. Pleasingly they maintained safety as their highest priority. Then it was trekkers’ enjoyment/satisfaction/health as their second highest priority. Everyday started and ended with a smile. I don’t speak Nepali; their guide’s English was excellent, and even the porters (who were ethnically Sherpa) had more than enough for friendly interactions. I knew our gear was in safe hands. The distance they asked us to trek each day was sensible and achievable. The places they (carefully) chose for us to stop had wonderful food, very needed after a day’s trek. They were clean and staffed by the friendliest hosts that I’ve stayed with. Naturally the higher you go the more basic the accommodation, but you have to except that in the mountains. The guides being local really knew the mountain, and had lots of info to impart. One thing I particularly liked about our guide was how he monitored our well being. If he noticed an individual was sluggish he quietly checked on them. Altitude sickness can come on quickly, so this extra touch was very reassuring. When one my friends fell, the guide got to him in milli-seconds to assist, I still can’t believe how fast he was. Payments systems and communication before the trip were professional, as an extra bonus their website has so much useful information. Do read it. They really went over and above what you would expect from a trekking company, 5 stars is not enough. I 100% recommend them.Show more

  I do see lot of good reviews but the bas camp tour I had very bad experience with this tour company for the Base camp tour I took in November 2nd week, 2022. I have to pay for my flight ticket from Lukla to Kathmandu. The flight tickets and meals are included in the package but I have to pay for the meals except breakfast and flight return tickets. The manager Santosh for Mount Ascends is very notorious, he will stop responding to your calls and this happened during the Base camp tour. I'm still fighting to get reimbursed for my return trip flight ticket expenses and even involved Tourradar.com which I booked the tour through them last year. My advise is STAY AWAY from Mountain Ascends and if possible from Tourradar.com.Show more

  Our group of 6 had the most incredible experience with Santosh and his team for our trek to Everest Base Camp, Chola Pass and Goyko Lake. Santosh went above and beyond to ensure we were all taken care of. He is the most experienced guide and constantly monitored how everyone was going, had in depth knowledge of each individual’s ability level and ensured to cater for our individual hiking speed and style.   I cannot fault Mountain Ascend Treks as we had a very positive experience and a great trip. All of the bookings made through Mountain Ascend Trek went exactly to plan and as expected. I particularly want to give a big shout out to travel consultant Santosh Khatri, who always contacted me back when I had questions and even after the holiday went to Reservations, he went out of his way to assist me with my enquiries. The prices you can offer are very competitive and I thought we got a fantastic deal including trekking's, flights, accommodation and extra add ons, to make the travel package even more attractive. The saddest part of this whole experience is having to come home, we didn't want to leave!Show more

Not only did we finally get to travel with the company helping us to move dates with no extra costs, the company organized everything. All our transfers were seamless and we had a brilliant time.
