    The 8-Day Iceland Northern Lights tour ends with hotel check-out on the morning of Day 8. Guided activities are from Day 1 to Day 7, with the last included service being accommodation on night of Day 7. On Day 8, there is no guided program, and the guide/driver will not accompany the group. You will check out of the hotel and make your way to your next destination or airport according to your own schedule.

    There is a great chance you will be accommodated at Hotel Island Spa and Wellness, but we cannot guarantee it as it depends on room availability. If fully booked, we will accommodate you in a similar hotel like Hotel Reykjavik Lights.

    The price for 2 adults and 2 children will be 1,364,960 ISK (~11,112$). If you cannot find an option to choose 2 rooms - no need to worry, the price does not depend on the number of rooms. So once you create a booking, you can simply contact us and let us know how many and which kind of rooms you want! We will add this information into the booking and send you an updated voucher.

    We do not offer airport pickup or drop-off services. You may book a Flybus transfer from Keflavík International Airport to a designated pickup location in Reykjavík. We do not provide accommodation booking services outside of the tour dates.

    Do you mean the pick up locations are hotels guests will stay? Are you going to tell me which hotel I would stay? Once I arrived at the airport I would get on the Flybus and be dropped at any of these hotels?

    Usually, our customers stay at Hotel Island Spa and Wellness. If they do not have availability, we would accommodate them in a different hotel. We send out the tour itinerary 7-14 days before the tour.

  Need to know if roundtrip transfers from KEF airport to hotel are included (1st day and last day in Reikjavik) or if not , if they can be quoted and added to th tour with an extra cost

    Roundtrip transfers between Keflavík International Airport (KEF) and hotels in Reykjavík, on both the first and last day of the tour, are not included in the package. Unfortunately, these transfers cannot be added to the tour as an extra service. However, you can easily arrange them separately by booking Flybus transfers, which operate in connection with all arriving and departing flights. They offer convenient drop-offs and pick-ups at selected hotels and nearby bus stops in Reykjavík. You can make your reservation online in advance to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.

    We cannot specify the names of the hotels at the moment, as your tour is not booked yet and there may be some changes in the itinerary. However, we usually use Hotel Island Spa and Wellness or similar hotels for accommodation in Reykjavik and Adventure hotel Geirland, Adventure Hotel Hof, Wilderness Center, Hotel Berjaya - Akureyri and Hotel Laugarbakki for accommodation during the tour. As mentioned before, the hotels may be different during the tour, due to availability or operational issues. The customers can always reach out to us a little bit closer to their departure date and we would confirm the actual hotels in which they will be staying during the tour, provided that they will book this particular adventure.

    You're welcome to extend your stay at the hotel for an additional night; however, please note that you'll need to arrange this booking directly with the hotel, as accommodation outside the official tour dates is not provided by us.

    The first day of your tour is planned for the exploration of Reykjavik. Your hotel check-in starts at 14.00, but you are free to arrive at any time. We do recommend arriving no later than the afternoon, as in the evening you will be going on a Northern Lights by boat tour. The tour itself starts at 22.00, but you will need to arrive at the departure point at least 30 minutes before. So please allow yourself enough time to enjoy our beautiful capital. The last day will be spent in Reykjavik as well. So you can plan your travel depending on how many things you wish to see and do around the city. None of our tours include airport transfers. We offer some group and private options, so if you wish, we can arrange it for you.

    We would like to organise airport transfers for 2 adults and a 15 and 11yr old child for this tour, also my wife is still awaiting a reply on the spiked hiking slip ons as to weather these are included in the tour

    We do not provide additional services like accommodation or airport transfers. Regarding the crampons - it is an optional extra that the customers can purchase via us. However, on our glacier hike or ice cave adventures we do provide them free of charge. If you want to purchase the crampons from us, we can add them to your booking and the guide will bring them to you on the day of the tour. The price for our crampons is 4900 ISK per pair.

    Airport transfers are not included in group tours, however, if you are looking for a private tour, you can add them to the booking. However the price for a private tour starts from 300 000 ISK per day.

  Can you pre purchase entry to Myvatn baths? Can you purchase crampons through the tour operator for the glacier hike? Any optional tours and prices? Star ratings of the hotels and if there are any options for upgrades?

    Myvatn Nature baths cost 7400 ISK per person. Crampons can be purchased for 4900 ISK per pair. Simple crampons are available to keep, but specialized glacier hiking crampons will be provided during the tour. Hotels are usually 3-star rated: Hotel Island, Adventure Hotel Geirland, Adventure Hotel Hof, Wilderness Center, Berjaya Akureyri Hotel, Hotel Laugarbakki. It is not possible to upgrade the hotels or swap them for different ones. No optional tours are available for this adventure.
