My husband and I spent 11 days in Tanzania and they were all incredibly fascinating and filled with exceptional good experiences. We really cannot find anything to fault anything on this trip because it was well planned and it flowed seamlessly with each activity fitting with the next and everything falling into place nicely. I have been on several trips and thus can appreciate the hardwork and attention to detail that the staff must put in to deliver on every aspect. We loved exploring the parks with an expert - Freddie. He knew his way around the parks and is an excellent tracker too. We saw so much wildlife that we did not think existed anywhere in the world. Hanging out with Freddie in the bush and back at the lodges was great. His captivating stories and life experiences were very interesting to listen to. A huge shout out to Zara Tours! You guys rock

Our group of five teachers chose Zara Tours because they came highly recommended by our friends. Upon doing a bit of online research we discovered that Zara Tours is one of the oldest and most reliable Kilimanjaro trekking operators in Tanzania. The trip was well planned with an expert crew. They were knowledgeable, friendly and caring. They put our safety first, above everything else. The cabins operated by the park were pretty decent. We got three hot meals with plenty of snacks in between from Kimario our chef, It was fun! Given another trip up Kilimanjaro I would still use Zara Tours

We did the Marangu route with my friends and the guides were really knowledgeable, fun and they got us to the summit on Tuesday at 0655hrs. The hike was great, but the course was tough, it took the collective support of guides Elias and Martin, Steve the cook and the porters to ensure the comfort, care and advice on how to tackle the mountain. I am glad that these guys took our health very seriously, characterized by morning and evening health checks, I had mild altitude sickness and Elias made sure I recovered fully before proceeding. I am deeply indebted to the whole team for their support and dedication throughout the course. They are the best.
