It was an unforgettable Kilimanjaro experience through the Marangu route for 6 days! Our guides were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly kind and encouraging, ensuring we felt safe throughout our journey. Surprisingly amazing food kept our spirits high amid the challenges. It was a wonderful experience! My wife and I climbed it together, We were able to reach the summit with the support of six great friends(2 guide, chef, waiter, 2 porter). Above all, the operator of this tour company, Rasta, is a wonderful man who cares about his family, so I was able to trust him very much. In terms of tour content, the 5-day plan was certainly a tough schedule, so if you have more time, it might be better to go for the 6-day plan. However, the members' first priority was for us to reach the summit, and it was a great experience to have friends to share our success with in an unfamiliar place.

The right balance of challenge and comfort on the Marangu route. The trail was not busy and overall quite clean. The huts are great and helped keep equipment dry. The guide was Dustin and he was very attentive to my needs, health and overall experience. With his support I made it to the peak! The Springlands hotel staff are very helpful. Amadeus in reception was always ready to help, Jack is an exceptional waiter at the restaurant and Linda was a great coordinator. Also Jane helped me navigate some communication between the hotel and the tour operator. Although there were a few communication problems, World Adventure Tours acknowledged the problem and found a solution in a very fair and reasonable way. I was satisfied with how they dealt with the situation and give them my highest recommendation based on their response. Big thanks to Joyce Gitumbi who went out of her way to ensure I was satisfied with the experience in Tanzania.

You'll get better photos and more reliable weather for reaching the summit. The 6-8 day tours give you that vital extra day at Horombo Hut to adjust to the altitude properly.
