Ryan· January 7th, 2026Our tour guides were amazing! When we arrived in Arusha, they moved heaven and earth to get us all set up and ready to go for the trek. We had another person join our trek a couple days before, and were amazingly accommodating to get us all together. We never had a dull moment on the mountain and the guides, cooks, and porters anticipated our every need. I’d highly recommend them to anyone who wants a no-frills, straight forward, and enjoyable trek. Asante sana!Show moreTrip date: January 2026- SYSUN· September 18th, 2025Our crews are very dutiful. Sophie· February 27th, 2025I don’t know where to start! I had the best trip with almighty and my guide John! I was so well looked after that I even had pizza at 4720m high! From start to finish the team took care of me so so well and when I needed a push to keep going I got exactly the right motivation! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. No words for their kindness and expert knowledge!Show moreTrip date: February 2025- BSBrad· December 13th, 2024Our experience climbing Mt Kilimanjaro was made by having two excellent guides Benny and James and also the management team of Almighty Kilimanjaro. Joan Carles· July 28th, 2024As a solo traveler, I summited Kilimanjaro on July 24, 2024, with a local registered company called Almighty Kilimanjaro, and I couldn't recommend them more. Coming alone to a foreign country (I'm from Spain) can be a little overwhelming, but I always felt very safe from the beginning. They took care of me like I was one of their own. Choosing a local company is not only cost-effective, often half the price of international companies, but it also means contributing more directly to the local economy (and their pockets). I contacted Almighty Kilimanjaro via their website and then through WhatsApp with the owner Rashid. Everything was clear from the start—we agreed on a price and schedule, and the trip was organized smoothly. Accommodation: The Salinero Kilimanjaro Hotel, where I stayed at the beginning and end of the trip, was a gated hotel with excellent security. The staff were very attentive and helpful, making for a great stay. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. The Hike: I took the Marangu route (5 days) and reached the summit thanks to the incredible guide, John Damian, and his team—Joseph, Enro, Julius, and the chef, Aalbad. Initially, I was concerned about the elevation since I had never hiked/climbed that high before, but the team was always there to answer my questions and calm my nerves. They checked my oxygen levels and pulse twice a day and ensured I followed all safety procedures. We had daily briefings about the next day's plans, including the route, weather conditions, clothing, and items to pack. (If you don’t own gear, they conduct a gear check at the beginning of the trip, allowing you to rent necessary items at an affordable price). Always follow your guide's advice; if they suggest using poles, do it—you'll need them later on. Attention to Detail: The team's attention to detail was incredible. They were always watching over me. The food was another highlight—Aalbad, the cook, prepared nutritious meals every day, rivaling those from a nice restaurant. Extra Activities: If you have extra time before or after the climb, visiting the Materuni Waterfalls and going on the coffee tour there is a must. Located in the last village before Kilimanjaro National Park, you'll learn about the Chaga people and how to make some of the best coffee you've ever tasted. Final Thoughts: During my time there, I was treated like family by John, the crew, and the driver, Abduly. I now feel like I have family in Tanzania. For aspiring climbers, get the best value for your money—go local, go with Almighty Kilimanjaro. Asante sana ndugu, tutaonana hivi karibuni (Thank you, brothers, hope i can see you soon).Show moreTrip date: July 2024- AFAustin· July 7th, 2023I hiked the 5-day Marangu Route and had an amazing time. Emanuel, my guide, made sure that I was going at a suitable pace and taking the necessary medications so that I would be able to successfully summit Mt. Kilimanjaro. Emanuel also took me on altitude acclimatization hikes to notable landmarks that are not directly on the Marangu Route, which is especially important for the 5-day Marnagu Route since there is less time to acclimate to the altitude. I noticed some other peers did not do these acclimatization hikes. The rest of the crew was also amazing, Unambwe, Manu, and Harubu were amazing porters and made sure everything made it on time. And, Martin cooked great meals. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro! In addition, this was my first time using Tour Radar, and for the most part, the whole operation from booking on Tour Radar to meeting the crew at Moshi was smooth.Show moreTrip date: July 2023

Charlotte· September 14th, 2022Absolutely fantastic experience with Almighty Kilimanjaro. They have a top-notch team of professionals to take you up the mountain. Swalehe my guide was so supportive and very accommodating. He was always watching out and making sure that I was safe. Anything I needed he would accommodate. I am a very slow hiker and almost felt embarrassed by how slow I was walking, but he assured me over and over that I was doing a great job. He offered to carry my daypack for me and always briefed me on the day’s plan. I would not have made it to Kibo hut if it weren’t for him. The food was delicious and the porters were so fun and encouraging. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Even though I didn’t make it to the top of Kilimanjaro, I had an absolutely amazing experience with Swalehe and his team. I am positive that not many people come down without achieving their goal would feel insanely joyful. This is because of Almighty Kilimanjaro. Thank you so much!Show moreTrip date: September 2022
S· January 9th, 2022Amazing hiking experience! My guide Jackson helped me with his best to bring me to the Uhuru peak, and now I am promoting this once-in-a-lifetime hiking experience to everyone. In addition, Jackson guided me to the maundi crater on day 1, and the zebra rock on day 2, which was not included in this 5-day tour, I was blessed to have chosen this tour and met Jackson! And Rashid operated the tour in a very smooth way with an opportunity to borrow all the equipments.Show moreTrip date: December 2021
