There may be a choice of camping or upgrading to a room. Rooms cost approximately USD 40-100 per room per night for a twin room and cannot be pre-booked. Standards of these rooms vary greatly, and we recommend viewing the room before purchasing the night's accommodation. The day-by-day itinerary advises when upgrades may be possible (subject to availability). Accommodation upgrades are possible on Days 02, 05 and 08 (subject to availability).

Is it true that April is a rain season in Tanzania - so not good period of time for tourists?

April is a rainy season in Tanzania. Actually, the rainy season is from March to the end of May. The only setback may be just the cold weather then, but wildlife and game viewing is still great. Alternatively, if you are flexible with their travel plans, you can opt for the June through September period which is much warmer, with a much better wildlife experience.

I would like to inquire about a vacation in more detail. Can I customize it so that I spend two weeks on the beach in Zanzibar after I do the basic tour? In other words, I would like to do a 7-day tour and then add two weeks on the beach.
