We are looking to organise a private tour of Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Ideally starting in Bangkok on 21/12/26 and finishing in Singapore on 2/1/27. We are a family of 4 (children will be aged 17 and 15 at the time of travel). We love a holiday that is a mix of cultural, wildlife, water activities, beaches, hiking, cooking and sampling different foods and meeting local people. Hotels should be 4*. Would you be able to help organise this for us?

We don't offer any customised tours, but we can run one of the tours selected from our website as a private departure for your group. Typical private group size is 8 or more. For most of our departures the minimum number of people required to run a private departure is 8 (with some exceptions). We can make some enhancements to some of our tours, but there are limitations and restrictions. If you don't meet the minimum of 8 travellers, we suggest to book on a public departure. Our public departures do not require a minimum number of travellers to run as we offer these as guaranteed departures.

How is sleeping arrangements as a solo traveller? Is ok to come on your own? Finish in Singapore would it be better to fly back to London from there or leave my things in Bangkok and fly back to go back to London? In two minds to bring all my stuff with me what do you suggest?

We believe that travelling by yourself shouldn't be more expensive. We treat single travellers the same as the rest of the group, which is why we don't charge single supplements. We'll partner you up with a same-sex roommate to ensure you pay the same as everyone else. Some nights on this tour will be multi-share. This may involve 4-6 group members sharing a room. The majority of accommodation will have shared bathroom facilities. The tour finishes in Singapore so it is up to you how you would like to return home. Most travellers will depart from Singapore home. There is no need to return to Bangkok unless you want to.

We are f38 and m33, i would like to know if you could tell us the average ages of the group for that date. We are worried that we are way too old. Last time we traveled there was the same range from 18 to 39 and there were only teens with us...

This is definitely a younger demographic and for the NOV 15th departure date the group are all born in the early 2000s. The NOV 8th departure date has more people born in the 1990s (lots of space on that departure date for people to join). Let us know if there is another departure date you would like to review or you might want to consider one of the CLASSIC style tours which has a mix of ages instead of just the younger crowd.

Is it possible to book in at least 4 star hotels for my wife and I on this tour?

As this tour is part of our 18 to thirtysomething travel styles it usually will be staying in multi share accommodations or homestays. We do not have the option to upgrade the accommodations on this tour.

I'm 40yo and I notice the tours are 18-39 - how strict are you with ages?

We are very strict on the age group for this trip so we would not be able to book you on this tour. However, we have plenty more trips on offer, so please do have a look at some alternatives in our classic range of tours.

Would fit in more with this group than the last tour I took where the average age was over 60. Am extremely disappointed in G Adventures.

Unfortunately we do have to be very strict on our age limited tours such as our 18-thirty-somethings products. As we advertise it as an under 40's trip, we need to honour our promise that this tour will be run as advertised and will only have passengers on it under a certain age.

Would we still be able to join or is this too late?

Joining the tour Day 2 would not be a problem, as the group will still be in Bangkok before departing later that night. This tour is part of our 18-30somethings range, suitable for all travellers between 18-39 years old.

I would like to confirm if this trip is avalaible for children? I have a family that its interested on making this trip.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "G Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of G Adventures. Please familiarize yourself with the G Adventures payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
