We completed the 18 day Circuit trek of Annapurna and without our guide Dibi and our porters Ram and Raj it never would’ve been possible. Dibi organises every tea house we stay at along the way and guided us along trekking trails and away from dusty roads and landslide areas. He carried fruit with him the entire trek for us to eat after dinner every night and ensure that we had a plan in place for every morning to get us out on time for the tracks. Ram and Raj helped facilitate Dibi’s plans, getting us the best rooms in every place. They taught us new card games and we all had such an amazing time getting to know each other. Without the guides and porters none of these experiences could happen. Dibi paced me up over the pass and Ram made sure that my water was full, while Raj kept me motivated to keep going. They are the dream team and anyone would be lucky to have them or any other guide working for NHT.Show more

From guiding us through the mountains, knowing all the best trails, pacing us for a smooth ascent, to supporting us when the trails got harder and providing endless games and laughter. We have never come across such kind, attentive and beautiful people. They truly are the backbone of the mountains and deserve so much appreciation and recognition. Our guide Madan was exceptional in leading us and ensuring we were safe and healthy throughout the entire adventure. We were also grateful for our porter, Ram, who was very thoughtful and went above and beyond his role as a porter. We felt very cared for throughout the trip. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us, to be able to take in the exhilarating views of the Himalayas, and experience the variety of towns and cultures throughout the circuit. Our guide Bhim was extremely informative, professional, had a great sense of humour and is a master cards player!!
