This was a MEMORABLE trip! All 3 staff, Heston, Westinghouse and Alois, were 5 star in every way. I'm my opinion, a better more upscale hotel would be a good start to thus trip. I found the Kenya Comfort Hotel to be seriously lacking. For the amazing day at Maasi Mara, please include the price of the jeep in the tour. There is no way we could have seen what we saw if we had been in the big bus. Please also upgrade the bus to include an electronic ice chest. We all purchased beverages that needed to be chilled, and ice was almost impossible to find. Finally, the tents are old, heavy and difficult to assemble. Please consider a tent upgrade for the future.Show more

Great tour - not only did we have a fantastic time on Safari and get to see the Big 5 but our cook (Malinga), driver (Steve) and guide (Leah) were fantastic. They went over and beyond to help us see so many animals, were patient when we had any issues, and ensured I could eat all the meals (I can't have dairy or gluten). All in all a great trip for the cost. Although be warned this is 100% a rough and tough camping trip - expect zero luxury!Show more

  Always a great question to ask and we do sometimes have discounts but I am afraid I do not have any discounts available for this tour. Yes, this tour begins and ends in Nairobi.

  The reason for the single supplement is that there are costs that you are not able to split. For example the accommodations, if you were to have someone traveling with you a room that costs 300 per night would be 150 per person, but as you will be the only one in the room, the cost is 300. Does that make sense?
